    I thought Matt W. was outstanding. He started class by announcing that there would be three rounds: 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 6 minutes. He explained everything clearly and gave lots of demos. He was helpful - setting up bands and putting them away. He was encouraging and corrected form. And his runs were challenging but within reason. THANK YOU! Really wonderful class.

    Full Body (60 Minutes)

    This was the best Barry's class I've been to. I REALLY liked the format of eight-minute treadmill intervals, each consisting of two-minute runs spaced out by recovery walks. That felt much more reasonable and attainable than the classes that involve 21-minute treadmill intervals, where it's so long that you just know it's impossible and don't try as hard. Also Allie's floor work was easy to understand and she gave the most individual attention I've had at Barry's - including pushing me to hit my fastest sprint pace (three times)!

    Teacher was engaged and accommodating for injuries, all exercises were thoroughly explained. Clean small gym. My only small complaint would be I prefer working at stations with a partner, it just keeps me a bit more motivated to push harder. This class had one person at each station because the class was small. My favorite thing about the gym is the outdoor shower haha!

    Derek was such a great teacher and so funny! The workout consists of a warm up, several stations involving some kind of heavy lifting (we had 4 stations that we did for 10 min each), and then stretching. This was my first LIFT class and Derek did a great job walking around correcting our form and being encouraging. I did my first handstand (against a wall)!!! What!     I love this studio so much! You learn proper boxing, not the BS at other places where you do 5 min of actual boxing and the rest is circuit training. You do 3 min on 3 min off in the ring 1:1 with a trainer! Ive been going for a couple of months and can see a difference in the way I move and punch. Everyone is super nice and supportive and it feels like a community! Definitely go here if you want to learn how to box!

    Ok this class is HARD. To give you an idea of how difficult it is, the WARMUP is a series of 50 burpees. However, don’t let that discourage you. The instructors and fellow classmates are super supportive and encouraging no matter what your pace is. The instructor Cristiano was so helpful and made sure I had alternate workouts for some of the harder parts (pull ups). All in all, it was one of the most gruesomely amazing workouts I’ve had in a long time. FYI, I was the only female in the class. The only minor negative I had was that at 7am there was no parking (permit only until 8am). So give yourself extra time to circle around.

It's not really a "class" though, more like personal training but she had other students so she kept an eye on me but didn't breathe down my neck which I loved. Really enjoyed the exercises she gave me. Cool thing is you can pace/challenge yourself. cute clean little studio, relaxed atmosphere.
