Very big, new, & clean gym. Upstairs & downstairs with primarily cardio equipment upstairs and weights downstairs. Could use more areas for free weight use and need mirrors that extend to the floor. I couldn’t see lower than my knees while working out

Josue was awesome! His cues were perfectly timed both when he faced the mirror and when facing the class. I appreciated that he showed the steps at low energy a couple of times then full energy after. He made it easy to follow the routine. He also encouraged that we modify movements that were difficult for us. I highly recommend taking this class!

    Gym Time

Went for open gym. It’s a very standard facility and will get the job done if you’re looking for a straight forward workout. No bells and whistles here but I was able to use the machines I needed without issue and get in and out because it was relatively empty aside from the fitness group classes. A lot of the older people from the community seem to frequent here too. Nice to see ppl of all fitness levels. Nice staff as well.

The class was okay. It ended short, there was only 4 of us and they were all over 50 in the class. The class was catered to older slower folk, there was no Pilates involved just mellow movements. The space felt like a rehab facilitation for older folk.

The class was good for beginners. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up, but she kept things very simple. We warmed up with some slow motion moves that we would be using for the dance portion, which helped a lot. I do wish she would have called out the next move each time. It was awkward finding myself jostled around and a step behind because I didn't know what to expect. I pretty much kept my eyes on her and tried to do whatever she was doing. It was also a little odd that we didn't always stay with the rhythm of the song. But overall, it was a good workout and I look forward to more Zumba. It was fun.
