They showed me around and were ready to pair me up with another participant to make certain I got the full experience. The others in the class were so friendly and gave high-fives as we wrapped up. I will definitely go back!

see all reviewsThe class was intense but very doable for beginners! We used a thin band and small weights (both are provided) with lots of reps. There was core work in the second half. I enjoyed the team’s connection as the instructor, Sarah, checked in with everyone. Several class participants and staff as well were helpful and welcomed me. There was a brief stretch at the end which I wish was longer but they do small stretches throughout the class too. I really enjoyed this workout and would love to come back!

see all reviewsLarge gym with weight machines on the ground floor and cardio machines upstairs. Big separate kids area. Plenty of rooms for classes and racketball. One hydro-massage table (not private). Heated lap pool and jacuzzi. (Regular pool was cold.) Steam and dry saunas. - My only issue was that the other women in the jacuzzi seemed kind of judgemental. I think I'm going to coin the term "yuppity" for this attitude. I didn't notice this attitude at the other Family Fitness gyms I went to. The pools were also not as warm and salty as at the Carmichael gym.

see all reviewsThis class was a good mix of humor, humility-induction and helpful practice tips. Two credits is an extreme bargain for this level of excellence. Definitely tip if you arrive here via Class Pass. An anecdote about a moment I experienced... At the end of the class someone mentioned they were going to San Francisco, and the instructor said, “It’s dangerous there.” A student chimed in, “…and disgusting.” I live in Oakland four days a week and can’t judge the validity of another’s experience, but it gave me a lot to think about, and I was probably in a better space to examine what came up for me when I heard that than I would have been before the class.

see all reviewsI’ve been wanting to try this gym out and now I am so happy it’s on classpass! Loved my first class! I am 37 weeks pregnant with two little ones. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to bring my kids but they took them no problem and the childcare room was great! They even gave them fruit snacks to go home with. Today’s class was focused on cardio conditioning (squat jacks, mountain climber, squat jumps, hop overs, rope slam, surrender squat hops, etc). There were 3 stations, 2 exercises each, switch exercise when partner finishes their counts, each station was 5 minutes, and we cycled through twice. It was hard but great! The perfect challenge. My mom is in her 60s and she did the class with me. The instructors were great at giving her modifications and great at giving encouragement! I hope to come back to this gym using classpass.

see all reviewsThis was my first gym visit since giving birth and it was a great experience! Anywhere Fit’s gym had tons of equipment and space for classes even up to 10 people. The strength class I did is great for any getting back into working out like me- it gave options of front or back squat and it was an asynchronous workout so we could go at our own pace. Eric, the trainer, was very friendly and attentive in making sure my form was good and ready to take on more weight. Lastly, the community seemed nice, one person engaged in conversation with me although I was new and the following Crossfit class had everyone do an introduction so everyone felt welcome. Overall, an excellent experience! I hope to come back again soon!
