I was a little worried after reading the reviews about flowing without guidance but I was pleasantly surprised. The instructor provides guidance for the first few times you do a specific flow and then gives you a few minutes to run through it a few times on your own. I’ve never gone to a yoga class structured like this but I thought it was really nice.

Aaron's class is tough. Legit thought I was about to pass out at one point. He has you doing push-ups and burpees between bag combos. I was in the front bag row and I was able to see but I would have been screwed at any other row. The facility is very clean. There is a lot of bike parking out front. I wouldn't recommend biking though if you're going to this guys class. I was struggling on my ride home.

I love this studio so much!!! I only come here when I visit my parents because I live in NYC. I love that they only do choreo during the chorus of a song because it’s easier to be on beat at that time and they use the verse to explain the choreo. I also love that some parts in the beginning are completely black so you can just focus on riding. Seriously this is the best studio I’ve ever been to and look forward to going when I visit home

I really like Morgans class best! I like GRIT and their studio, staff and format and I like that the classes are to the beat and have a lot of choreography to keep me distracted.. Morgan is my favorite because some instructors get into the super super fast tempo for the majority of the class. Super fast is fun... but I appreciate that Morgan mixes in some hill climbs and other elements into her workouts.. I feel like theres more variety and Im using different muscles (and I like her long weight lift songs!). The studio is great overall, but after a few months, I had to give a shout-out to Morgan!

I am generally not the biggest fan of spinning though I do occasionally find a studio or instructor that gives me a glimpse into what everyone else is so jazzed about and I guess this is one of those for me. Full Body (60 Minutes)

This was the best Barry's class I've been to. I REALLY liked the format of eight-minute treadmill intervals, each consisting of two-minute runs spaced out by recovery walks. That felt much more reasonable and attainable than the classes that involve 21-minute treadmill intervals, where it's so long that you just know it's impossible and don't try as hard. Also Allie's floor work was easy to understand and she gave the most individual attention I've had at Barry's - including pushing me to hit my fastest sprint pace (three times)!

This class is great, honesty. I love that there are several arm workouts. Three songs in this class are dedicated to arms. The studio is super spacious and modern and very well designed and cute. The location was great for me as I was staying close to Scripps Medical Center. The only downfall is that it was a 60 minute spin class and that was brutal for me. Im more of a 45-50 minute spin class person. But overall it was an amazing workout! Will definitely be back if Im ever in the area again.

EDEN Pilates Reformer Class Beverly Hills

A great workout! My only criticism is that we spent the majority of class on our hands or elbows (planks etc...so lots of shoulder pressure) so ending it with heavy shoulder work was a bit much! But loved it overall.

    Power Reformer

This was Tracy's debut class at Speir, she's a great addition to this stellar team. She has a professional demeanor, a slightly goofy personality (made lots of jokes!), which is great, and a lovely voice. Our workout was challenging, safe, well-structured and fun. I would definitely go back to Tracy's class. She's a nice addition to the team.
