    Keep in mind that this class is not open level. It is part of a four-week intensive on weightlifting. I didn’t realize this and I came in at week four as a beginner. However, the instructor was great and I will come back next week for the fundamentals class and then some. get ready to plank, squat, lift, and hang!

    Fun, interesting class that combines yoga with weight training exercises. Joanna is great and I love the calm, candlelit atmosphere in the studio during the night classes. It’s a way to change up your normal yoga routine.

    Megaformer - Lagree : All Levels

    So so happy to see Lagree NY on classpass!! I had been to this studio several times prior to today and always had a great experience. The instructors are friendly, welcoming and demonstrate exercises during class so there is minimal confusion if you’re not sure about form. The classes I’ve been to are all smaller than other studios so there is more individual attention (although I imagine being on classpass may draw more people). The studio is well lit so you can actually see yourself and make form adjustments (most machines only have mirrors on one side). The music is not blaring so you will not lose your hearing. The workouts are always a well balanced mix of upper and lower body and are more in line with Lagree method as compared to other studios in the area. While I don’t think this is the most intense megareformer workout it’s still incredibly effective and makes me feel good that I can do back to back without as much rest time.
