    METHOD 45

A special class, taught by Ruth, the founder of Flywheel. I really like that she kept the routine fairly basic. I tend to prefer teachers who are cycling purists, versus those who try to add in newer things or get carried away with the cheerleading.

    Power Vinyasa

Top notch instruction. Really enjoyed that the class was powerful without being fast. One awareness about the studio: they crank the heat up high so you will work up a sweat, but there are no showers so it's not great if you're headed to work...

    FlyBarre: Power 45

Emily is a pro instructor. Everything about this class is dialed in. I like this studio better than other barre classes because they just focus on classic, proven exercises (squat variations, leg lift variations, crunch variations). I think some other studios try to get too cutesy with their lean back hips tucked waterski on your stiletto toes gimmicky moves.

    Y3 Shred ODESZA

Love these shred classes! Working out in an infrared room guarantees a major sweat sesh! Just a minor suggestion: if there’s time ahead of the class, maybe the studio can set up each assigned station with the items that will be used during the class (aside from weights which the students can grab themselves since those will vary by person) such as: the bands, balls and sliders if they are going to be used in that session.

Love the space bright, organized, clean. Love Cats style of instruction she gives hints about upcoming moves, clear descriptions of moves and sequencing, with a little humor peppered in. Fun soundtrack for bouncing around. Self-paced class (emphasis on form over pace), which was helpful for my first time at this location. For your first visit, allow extra time to find and pay for street parking, and fill out the waiver. (Plus you may need time to intuit the lockers : when you close the door, enter your own four digits, turn the knob, then spin the numbers to random positions. To rescue your contents, spin the numbers back to your chosen four, then the knob should turn to give you access.)

    Beginner Bungee Workout

Fun! If youre new to bungee, definitely take this beginner class that covers the basic skills. Instructors were very welcoming and patient. Surprisingly, it was a good workout even though it didnt feel terribly strenuous- I walked out good & sweaty. Class starts with a brief warmup before putting on the bungee harness (jog, shuffle and power skips). Then, you put in special shorts (reminded me of neoprene hot shorts) before being fit with the harness. The instructors help you put on the harness, make sure your bungee is the right length setting, and strap you in. Then, you learn various skills that are built gradually into choreography to a song. It took some getting used to, but was a lot of fun once I learned to trust the bungee. Class ended with a short cool-down stretch. Get there 15-20 minutes early your first time to read and sign a release (yes, the release does allow studio right to video you, which previous reviewer must not have noticed?). Looking forward to next time!

I havent had so much fun in a fitness class in a while! This class was amazing and unlike anything else I have taken in Seattle. This was a great class! With only 4 students, you get a lot of individual attention. The class moves along quickly and I thought it was challenging. Ashley does hands-on modifications (if your foot should be over there, she'll move it over there, not just tell you to move it) so if that isn't something you like, I would ask at the start of class for verbal corrections. It was helpful for me because I might think my foot is in one place, but more often than not, it's a little off.
