    Sweat Flow L1

First time in the new upstairs space - it is clean and spacious, and will be so nice once the leaves are out on the trees! Stephanies class was challenging and well paced. There are lots of options offered, but would recommend some familiarity with yoga as the instructor moves around the class rather than demonstrating at the front (which is great; lots of adjustments and attention to form) - it just means it is easier to follow if you know the names of the poses. This studio is my favourite in the east end - always a great experience from start to finish.

    Hump Day Pump Day

A good workout. Love the emphasis on lifting heavy. This is a big class though with 40+ people. I think it would be better to have at least 1 additional staff supporting participants with form/modifications/weights. The instructor is good but hes way outnumbered.

Loved the playlist in this class! Also the instructor— she allowed more choice than usual for lagree instructors and that was actually so empowering. I got an insane workout and felt supported. Will look for her classes again.

Beautiful space, very challenging circuit. Cameron was great, always corrected form and posture. He also left adequate time to stretch which is very rare in circuit based training! Huge appreciation!! Really enjoyed it.

    Metabolic Conditioning Class

This class is no joke! This class is tough but manageable and the real deal. Feels like you have a personal trainer in a small group setting! You do a series of workout stations with a partner and do 4 sets of exercises for 30 seconds each. They might be squats, lunges, pulling a huge thing across the floor, etc. People in the class seemed to be regulars and they were totally welcoming and supportive. The owner even helped me out with a pair of (clean) socks because I was a hot mess and forgot to bring some. What a nice person and a great class!

    EM Barre 101

This studio is absolutely gorgeous. It is huge and airy. The class was amazing as well, very technical and challenging enough. I'm someone who has a ballet background and has done a lot of barre classes, and I was very impressed. The instructor increased the intensity gradually but steadily so I never felt that it was too difficult but I was very sore by the end of the class! I will be back.
