ZenRide (45 min)
see all reviewsAs an early-30s amateur cyclist, this studio was great. Emmas playlist was full of club-style remixes of pop songs I love (Beyonc and Nelly to name a few). For me the location is perfect, and the studio has a great ambiance. They provide shoes and towels, but you bring your own water. The class was almost all double time, which I can only do for about 5 minutes. I tried to keep up, but just put on a little more resistance when I couldnt. Overall definitely going back and very glad its on ClassPass!

see all reviewsThe class was really good and very fun! My only constructive critique would be that I wish there had been a bit more barre work and that the lower body exercises were larger, more dynamic movements instead of just holds and small pulses.

see all reviewsNiki was a great instructor! The lower body series was on fire, I just wish there was more variety in the upper body series as I’ve done solely triceps in all of my recent classes.

see all reviewsI consider any class where you actively throw your body onto the ground repeatedly, work up a sweat in a chilled room, and wake up the next day with sore muscles that you never knew existed a success. Seriously. This was a great workout. I especially enjoy that everyone was encouraged to work at their own pace and the instructor motivated everyone to do as many repetitions as possible without focusing too much on one correct form.

see all reviewsThis was a great class. Kind of strict vibe here, but I didn’t see any of the same rules re: drinking water or taking child’s pose that others have commented about. In fact, I saw multiple people modifying for their needs. The pacing was different here too, very long savasanas and quick dialogue through the poses which often didn’t feel long enough in the movement. Overall, great - just an adjustment from my studio.

see all reviewsSarah is an incredible yoga instructor! I’m relatively new to yoga, and her class is so welcoming. She took time at the beginning of class to check for any customizations she could make to the class for the students, to make it more challenging or mindful for injuries. The music she played in class was also great- a good mix of laid back contemporary tracks. Will be back!!

see all reviewsVery welcoming instructor that explained everything from the warm up to the cool down well. However...Frustrated that the instructor didn’t work with me to find a challenging weight. When the plate weights weren’t right they discouraged me from modifying with dumbbells that would challenge me. Left feeling like I didn’t get the best workout that I could. Felt the focus wasn’t on form but rather speed—felt like I was swinging through movements which also contributed to a less fulfilled feeling at the end of it. Seems like a good gym environment though.
