    ZenRide (45 min)

As an early-30s amateur cyclist, this studio was great. Emmas playlist was full of club-style remixes of pop songs I love (Beyonc and Nelly to name a few). For me the location is perfect, and the studio has a great ambiance. They provide shoes and towels, but you bring your own water. The class was almost all double time, which I can only do for about 5 minutes. I tried to keep up, but just put on a little more resistance when I couldnt. Overall definitely going back and very glad its on ClassPass!

The class was really good and very fun! My only constructive critique would be that I wish there had been a bit more barre work and that the lower body exercises were larger, more dynamic movements instead of just holds and small pulses.

This was a great class. Kind of strict vibe here, but I didn’t see any of the same rules re: drinking water or taking child’s pose that others have commented about. In fact, I saw multiple people modifying for their needs. The pacing was different here too, very long savasanas and quick dialogue through the poses which often didn’t feel long enough in the movement. Overall, great - just an adjustment from my studio.

    Aerial Yoga

Absolutely so much fun! First time trying aerial yoga and awesome first time experience. WILL is an excellent instructor and super nice human. Challenging, fun, and relaxing at the same time. Would highly recommend to anyone. (Basically doing lots of yoga poses with the assistance of the yoga hammock plus swinging like a kid!) So happy I found this class. Its about a 20 minute drive from Shadyside/Oakland area.

    Sivananda -5 Point Yoga

Loved trying out a new branch of Yoga!! So calming and kind. Loved the instructors vibe and the tightness of the small class. Beautiful studio with ALL the yoga goods (musical instruments, props, oh my!). Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a switchup from vinyasa for a change.
