    I would say Barrys are great classes for already athletic individuals who know about weight lifting form, not beginners. I didn’t see much form checking or corrections/modifications and it was definitely fast paced. As someone who exercises regularly, I really did enjoy the class and found it challenging!

    I was very impressed with the COVID safety precautions, including the spaces marked on the floor and smaller class sizes. Sarrina was very friendly and encouraging. The title is ACCURATE! you will sweat and your booty will be on fire! I was confused as to how this class works but they do a HIIT style workout for the first 30 minutes (the sweat) and then transition to barre exercises for the second half (P30 booty). I liked it and will return!

    Great class! They were right outside the Rec Center doors but the stairs from the soccer field. It was just the right speed for me since I’m just getting back into the swing of things. Kelly has a mic and there’s a speaker so you can hear her verbal cues. You might want to bring some bug spray if bugs love you.

    As a first-timer, this was a really great boxing class. Definitely good for all levels because it focuses on technique, and I could tell there were more advanced people in the class that were getting as much out of it as I was. Will was friendly and made me feel comfortable as a newbie. I prefer this to other "boxing" classes that are more for fitness rather than actually learning the technique. Still a great workout but also worked my mental fitness!

    Love Bodymass. Most COVID safe gym I’ve been to (5 ppl/semi private, individual squat racks for distance, everyone masked). All the trainers are knowledgeable & help you push yourself while maintaining safety and good form. Also, the small class size means you get to choose what to work on each day (there are 2 upper, lower and total body workouts available each week) & the trainers are very available to help you make modifications based on your body/injuries/etc, offer adjustments or just answer questions. Woody’s also a great trainer! My first class I mentioned to Woody that I had an issue with my shoulders, and since then he’s routinely checked in to make sure I can complete exercises safely and build strength around the joint. Also, as a woman doing strength training you sometimes encounter men in the gym who underestimate your knowledge or strength but Woody is the total opposite of that. He treats you with respect and encouragement and helps you challenge yourself.

    This is a cute little studio with friendly staff. The spin classes have a much more intimate feel than many other studios given the small space, small number of bikes, and lack of darkness. I enjoyed this class, but I'm not sure I would call it a "sculpt" class. It seemed like a pretty standard spin class to me. This studio has one shower, but no towels, hairdryer, or basic toiletries, so make sure to bring that stuff with you if you want to shower after class.

    Christianne’s classes are always great. She’s so nice, patient, and gives clear instructions. Most of all though, she works in more stretching between sets throughout her class than any other instructor without taking time away from the class.     This was a great class. Lauren (and a support team member) gave excellent form correction throughout class to make it feel like a private class in a group training setting. This was a durability day—80% efforts—so it was a grind but a good sweat. There are 5 stations that you complete with heavy weights and there are a few different levels of weight difficulty which makes you able to tailor your workout for your level. Will be back! Would like to be able to see which type of class I will be doing (M.A. or D.) before class if possible.

    My session with Coach Debbee was great! It ended up being 1x1 in Meridian Hill Park, which meant I got an hour of personalized training. Coach Debbee is really friendly and attentive as she led me through a full body work out that got my heart rate up. She also showed me how to tweak some exercises in my existing rotation to make them more effective. I was definitely feeling it the next day, which is what I was looking for!
