    Class was great! Shaynna is a lively instructor and the music was fire. Front desk person was lovely and helped me get a locker, then there was someone inside the room who helped orient and clip in to the bike. As a total first-timer, I enjoyed it and would recommend to other first-timers. The bike is yours to customize resistance, and everyone is so busy grinding on their bike that no one could possible be looking at or judging you. Great heads-down workout.

    The vibe was great, but a little noisy and I couldn’t hear coach’s instructions clearly sometimes. For first timer it’s a little confusing to go through all the workouts at a very fast pace and the coach didn’t seem to give extra attention. It’ll be very challenging for completely fitness newbies.     5 stations, approximately 8 mins at each. Bikes/Row station: 40 sec moderate speed, 20 sec sprint, 8 each arm single arm overhead press, then repeat and decrease reps by 1 each round. Bench station: 6 per side bird dog row, 10 dumbbell pullovers, 12 bicep curls, then repeat and decrease bicep curl reps by 2 each round. Turf station: 12 hollow hold single-arm fly alternating arms, 16 medicine ball twists, 10 medicine ball rainbow slams, then repeat. Treadmill station: fast pace to 6 calories, 2 push-ups to alternating toe taps, repeat and add 2 calories and 2 pushup reps each round. Cage station: bench press 6-8 reps (reps in reserve), 10 band tricep pulldowns. There was also a warmup, 2 minutes of abs after the stations, and cool down stretching.

    First moments I found it odd to have videos showing the moves throughout class. (Strength stations day.) Then I realized how handy they are for referencing form questions that I had while doing the moves. And the instructors rove around giving form tips. The time is efficiently used, with one overview and the. The video loops for reference and expert input. What I was really hoping for came - ten minutes after class I caught myself humming in the grocery store. This might be the type workout that spikes my serotonin. Looking forward to going again and seeing if the next class gifts the chemical happy too. I also liked the instructors. Helpful, warm, grounded.

    This class is super intense. Would not recommend for beginners if you're not used to doing high intensity cardio exercises back to back with minimal breaks. I was able to modify as needed and take breaks. Gabby was very encouraging and supportive. She took time to check in, cheer me on, and correct my form throughout the session. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming. We did warmup stretches and cooldown stretches which I really liked. Overall, it was a good experience and I would probably go back again to check out more cardio + their other offerings.

    Took MXT with Cory, which mixed cardio with weights and conditioning in AMRAP sets. The exercises push you and gets your heart rate going! Also appreciate that Cory was attentive to all the stations with encouragement and checking your form. The community also seemed nice and full of regulars. Be prepared to just come and go - the studio is located in the Meridian building and doesn’t have changing room/restroom facilities of its own.
