    This class is super intense. Would not recommend for beginners if you're not used to doing high intensity cardio exercises back to back with minimal breaks. I was able to modify as needed and take breaks. Gabby was very encouraging and supportive. She took time to check in, cheer me on, and correct my form throughout the session. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming. We did warmup stretches and cooldown stretches which I really liked. Overall, it was a good experience and I would probably go back again to check out more cardio + their other offerings.

    Such a good workout. My arms and muscles by my shoulder blades were sore the next day but not too bad since we took time to stretch at the end. I was lost at first with the boxing portion since I didn’t know what each term meant (front jab, back upper etc) and they’re not explained by the instructor. But I eventually got the hang of it and the instructor came to check on me to make sure I got the rhythm. It’s really loud in there though. Will definitely go back and try to get better.

    Wow! What a freakin work out. Take your BCAAs before you go, you’ll need that energy. I loved how intense it was. The studio was well lit, the instructor was great for a first time, though I do recommend doing their intro classes especially if you’ve never taken anything on a reformer. I think the inventor of the reformer would be shocked that this level of intensity has been discovered on the machine — this not for the faint of or for someone looking to ease themselves into moving their body. Stretch after and HYDRATE.

    Enjoyed this class in a beautiful studio. It was a very relaxing space. The class had a good flow - more vigorous than Yin, but more relaxed and slower paced than other classes. Only feedback I have is that it would be helpful for the instructor to give hands on adjustments, especially since the class is focused on alignment. There were only 5 students in the class so it wouldn’t been too difficult to do this. She should have at least offered commentary on our alignment, even if she prefers not to do adjustments.

Turf station: 12 hollow hold single-arm fly alternating arms, 16 medicine ball twists, 10 medicine ball rainbow slams, then repeat. Treadmill station: fast pace to 6 calories, 2 push-ups to alternating toe taps, repeat and add 2 calories and 2 pushup reps each round. Cage station: bench press 6-8 reps (reps in reserve), 10 band tricep pulldowns. There was also a warmup, 2 minutes of abs after the stations, and cool down stretching.

Yoga is so much more than asana and exercise and while Ali definitely stoked the fire within me with a powerful Ashtanga vinyasa sequence (e.g., we literally we fogged up the windows), she took the time to actually TEACH us something more.     I did a lower body build with Mike. This was my first ever strength/conditioning class (and first ever class at a gym). I'm very new to fitness and gyms so I was feeling nervous about being able to keep up but Mike made the class accessible and understandable. I really liked how small and intimate the space was. Mike was very welcoming and took the time to explain and demo each exercise in great detail and also came over to check my form which I really appreciated. Everybody had a chill laid-back energy and the space was very comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful and super clean. Overall, would highly recommend and I plan to come back.
