Front desk did not greet me because there is self check in and a lot going on but it felt warm and inviting anyway. A few people arrived after class had begun. I’m glad people were able to come in late because I would like to be given that grace myself if it were to happen in the future. I liked that the instructor acknowledged even the late arrivals and how she introduced herself by name a few times. I learned a lot from participating in this class since the focus is explaining. Parking was a dollar in the back lot.

If I weren't already familiar with certain exercises and already doing some of these at home from time to time (albeit without the weights), I would have felt lost even though everything was explained and demonstrated well. I would say this is not for absolute beginners. I don't consider myself an expert by any means either, so as long as you're already stretching regularly and otherwise exercising in some way, I think you can push through. I see some people say no pointers are given, but Sharon provided plenty of pointers to various people throughout the class. The intensity lasted the stated 50 minutes and was followed by a mini-yoga session (10 min). I enjoyed it all and definitely want to return. If I don't, it'll simply be because it's a little far for me. The drive felt like commuting to and from work.

It was easy to go from move to move because you hold stretches and positions. The instructor made corrections and walked around at various times even though it was live streamed, I did not feel that that took anything away from the in person experience. I walked straighter and taller after this class and felt amazing. The studio is beautiful and spacious and the staff is very nice. I am definitely coming back and adding yoga back in to my routine.

If you are a beginner, I'd recommend not being in the front row because the instructor is hard to see with how the bikes are laid out. Everything else is great! Loved the outdoors aspect and the fresh air, however do remember to bring bug spray! The singing bowls were also a very nice touch, i love when instructors add them to the class, it makes it feel very peaceful and zen. The flow was very beginner-friendly and gave me a deep stretch. Everyone was very friendly and overall I would do it again! ☺️
