see all reviewsDana is such a passionate instructor who is an asset. Everything about her class was spot on and made me fall in love with Y7 again: the epic music that instills hope, the flow, the monologue, and her presence. She’s a model Y7 instructor. Please have her on the schedule at this location more frequently. The other instructors that I have taken at this location are lacking experience and passion. It shows in their flows and guidance which are messy.

see all reviewsExhale has seriously gone down hill from the high standard that used to be in place before lockdown in terms of their upkeep and cleanliness. There is hair everywhere - all over the studio floor and the locker room - at all times. There haven’t been paper towels available by the sinks for weeks. Students are left to clean the equipment and used mats after class with the crappy wipes they have. There are no cleaning attendants who come into the classroom in between the evening classes. In the 45 minutes I spent in the locker after class, using the sauna, showering and changing, I saw the cleaning staff basically just walk back & forth through the area, going into their locker 4/5 times, checking their phone and not doing a thing when there is plenty to do. Class was an absolute 5 though, hence the review. Alex is the best Instructor at exhale and of course he’s leaving this place.

see all reviewsIntense cardio and weight class today! Today’s class was full of weight lifting moves with a cardio aspect (like skaters, burpees, walking lunges, jump squats, high knees etc.-all with weights) and “less cardio dance with weights” like it usually is with the regular instructor.

The class begins with a solid and thorough warm up, and there is a good mix between conditioning, bag work, and even some unique “sparring” exercises that got everyone having fun! see all reviewsThis was SO nice. A very gentle but challenging Pilates class. There were only 3 of us but it felt right because the room wasn’t all that big and it was dimly lit anyways. This instructor was really clear on her instructions and gave adjustments as needed. This would be a great workout to focus on breathing and strength. And the space is incredible— a luxurious workout, if there ever was one.

see all reviewsJeff gets a lot of flack lol. I personally love his classes. I find them physically challenging and mentally stimulating, even if he goes off on little tangents sometimes. I don’t mind a little chuckle for during a hard and hot 75 min flow. Nothing wrong with a little comic relief. He does do hands on adjustments, and yes he should ask for permission given the climate and sometimes sad realities of this practice within the yoga community, but personally I have a lot of alignment issues/injuries so I feel I greatly benefit from being corrected and shown how it feels to be doing the poses correctly. I never feel like he’s doing so in a creepy or threatening way, however that’s just my experience. Take it or leave it. Definitely a non-traditional class setup but always an amazing, well-thought out flow.

see all reviewsI thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. Despite being pregnant with twins, she really had tremendous energy, was able to demonstrate several moves, gave great form corrections, and was all-around very positive. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps.
