    DASH 28

This was my first time at Mile High and I loved it. Basically a spin class on treadmill. Great music. Good vibes. And I appreciated that you can pace the class as works for your own body. The instructor Christy was great. Will def be back.

    DIRTY 30

I thought a 30 min class would be easy since I found the Dash 28 a breeze, but I was so wrong. This was intense and I felt like I was going to throw up at times. Come to this on an empty stomach! Corinne always has the hardest workouts.

LOVED switch. Definitely adding to my favorites. It youre into HIIT you wont find this so hard like some of the comments say. Less hard than usual but still fun! Also would recommend to the studio to label the resistance bands given they were used in multiple stations but you dont have time between rounds to test out which band is best suited for the next exercise

Ben and Francis are amazing and couldn’t stop sharing reminders on proper form and technique....which is why it pained me to see some people completely ignore them?! EXCEED: The Workout

Such a tough workout, but exactly what I wanted. Very good bang for your buck in terms of squeezing in a good full body workout. Justin was super nice and great at explaining everything. He was also good about going around and offering form corrections and positive reinforcement. Very non-judgmental and encourages you to do what your body will allow. Clean, nice studio and a small-ish class so there was ample room to do the exercises. A lot like KORE but with less over-crowding!

Really fun and challenging without being undoable— also a nice switch from the general boot camp /circuit style. Ive been doing Barrys since 2015 - I love it - and Ive rarely had an instructor thats as hard as Brady for the floor sequence. Great vibe here, I like the low lights and loud music. It is a little warm in the studio so dress accordingly. If youre new its better to get a machine in the middle so you can see other people and the instructor hangs there the most. Its a little hard to understand some of the moves if you havent been but before class the teacher demonstrated some (so go early and watch!). They dont use the traditional Lagree names so I was a little lost at times but I think the more you go the more you will catch on. Teacher was full of energy and excitement- you can tell he is passionate about his work there. Highly recommend Jacob!

I was visiting NYC so I’ve never visited this location or taken a class with Casey before. But it was one of the best Barry’s classes I’ve ever taken. The real deal. It’s a turf-style training class. Class started with series of jump drills over hurdles and sprints back, then straight sprints, then jumping on boxes, then sled pushes. My 1st time at Brrrn and I was struck by how awesome and friendly the team and instructors are. Lindsay made a point of greeting everyone in the class and setting expectations. The format itself was interesting: sort of a build from a slow yoga flow to some strength and sculpt work with an unexpected cardio blast in the last few minutes. Lots of balancing too. Wasn't the toughest workout but I wasn't looking for that. I still felt a burn. The room temp felt so refreshing and it's a cool concept. Definitely recommend it and plan to return.

UPPER BODY (PUSH/BENCH PRESS) STRENGTH CAMP

This workout really killed me. Its hard for me to even type this review. I did the upper body push/bench press campy and found that I cannot lift more than 25 pounds, however, this did not stop them from adding more weights. Despite the cramp space, no free water, and they ran out of sweat towels, I will give this class another try because although it was hard, I felt challenged and now I want more. There were three instructors who were very personable, helpful, and encouraging. Instructions were clear, I did not feel intimidated by the numerous guys with their shirts off, which I am usually am. Mathew is such an amazing instructor. He pushes you hard and is very attentive. The program is one of the most thoughtful and well organized out of all the places Ive been to. We make use of a variety of equipment such as stairs, assault bike, barbells, etc. The workout is different every time but the warmup is similar. Theres not many other HIIT classes that have a barbell portion. This exercises are what you would find in a crossfit WOD but better and the environment is not as intimidating. This is the workout that prepares you for other workouts. Highly recommended for all levels! The strength class is pretty great too.

    Simply Barre

The studio is SO cute & the music was awesome. I took cardio barre and it was so challenging. The movements are easy but it definitely puts your endurance to the test. I left feeling like I had worked out every part of my body and got in a really good sweat! Ill definitely be back.

Adv. Beg. Clinic at YORKVILLE (89TH & YORK)

The clinics here are hit or miss but you can't beat the combination of a strong group of players and an excellent instructor. Rick had lots of helpful tips I haven't heard before (in the 30 or so clinics I've taken here) and had different and fun drills/games.

Megan made this a great experience. She is welcoming and extremely helpful and detailed. I had no clue what I was doing coming in, but she really explained everything. The HR monitor was a nice plus, although I think she thought I was going to die. Clean locker rooms with nice showers.

    Box & Bells

This was my first time doing anything boxing-related. I got a great workout and worked up a good sweat. Jeff was very attentive, made me feel welcomed and was excellent at checking form and cueing.

    Total Body Burn

She is very talented, enthusiastic, nice lesson plan. A killer playlist. But the class is not challenging if you are a guy. The gals in the class were younger than me and were challenged though. But athletic men can skip this one. Also space is too small, movement has to be contained.

    Hard Core Thursday

This class was insane. I’ve taken over 350 CP classes and have never experience something as intense- barely any breaks, just nonstop aggressive fitness moves. The instructor really pushes you too, and will call you out if you do push ups on your knees, take a break, etc. Also noting the class was 45 min and not an hour. Maybe he just saw me struggling that badly and did the class a favor...

    KILLER BODIES : HIIT BOOTCAMP

It lives up to the hype of being a great work out and Meliza is the real deal. There was constant dripping throughout the class from something on the ceiling since we were in the basement, couldnt move spots because there was no room to do so.
