    Row House HIIT *

Really tough class. Every piece was a 1 or 2 minute sprint on the erg or on the floor. Melissa gave low impact modifications for the floor pieces. One comment is her rowing form is a little distracting for someone with rowing experience, but at least she's good at instructing a class.

Erin is a terrific instructor! She provided a clear overview of the class structure; she checked in with each and every class member at the start of class, asking about newbies, injuries, etc...checked for proper foot fitting and damper settings; during class she walked to room and again checked in with every single person and provided individualized feedback and tips. She also had good music sets that kept us on stroke. Class was a good mix of endurance, strength and sprints.

Hollis is the best! I am so happy she is now overseeing the other instructors because there is always so much to learn from her and she shares it all so generously. Her enthusiasm for rowing is infectious! Love her and her classes every time.

Beth and CityRow are THE BEST ALWAYS AND FOREVER. She somehow always makes me laugh while simultaneously making me get my lowest splits and maximum meters. Not sure how she does it but I appreciate it every time. And her mat exercises and stretches are the best.

    GoRow Time!

What a great class. Garrett is a great instructor, personable and offers hands on help with form and technique. Very motivating and an overall good workout. I never thought I’d get this much from rowing but he mixes it up well bw rowing, weights and other exercises. Highly recommend his class if you want to get a good cardio workout in.

I really enjoyed this class. More varied and more challenging than Row House. Brandon is so good about checking form and takes a genuine interest in the students. Very motivational. And he's extremely cute which always helps ;-)

Troy is energetic, friendly and corrects your form. This is by far the best class on class pass. If you like HIIT or a mix of cardio and strength, you should be rowing. No two classes are ever the same. A total steal for the amount of points.

Melissa was great. Super energetic and welcoming. This is classified as a rowing studio but the rowing technique is very different than a regular rowing class so set your expectations. In most rowing classes your legs power the exercise. In this workout legs are static for most of it and core/upper body powers the rowing action. I find it to be not as full of a cardio workout without the legs. But if you want a good core/your body focused cardio workout, you'll enjoy this studio.
