see all reviewsExhale has seriously gone down hill from the high standard that used to be in place before lockdown in terms of their upkeep and cleanliness. There is hair everywhere - all over the studio floor and the locker room - at all times. There haven’t been paper towels available by the sinks for weeks. Students are left to clean the equipment and used mats after class with the crappy wipes they have. There are no cleaning attendants who come into the classroom in between the evening classes. In the 45 minutes I spent in the locker after class, using the sauna, showering and changing, I saw the cleaning staff basically just walk back & forth through the area, going into their locker 4/5 times, checking their phone and not doing a thing when there is plenty to do. Class was an absolute 5 though, hence the review. Alex is the best Instructor at exhale and of course he’s leaving this place.

see all reviewsHands down the best yoga class I've ever taken. I got nice and sweaty. There were some very advanced poses thrown into the class, but the instructor made thr class feel very comfortable with modifications and a safe space to play/try the poses. I was inspired to push myself, and when I failed felt great just taking a child's pose. Take this livestream. You won't regret it!

see all reviewsThis was SO nice. A very gentle but challenging Pilates class. There were only 3 of us but it felt right because the room wasn’t all that big and it was dimly lit anyways. This instructor was really clear on her instructions and gave adjustments as needed. This would be a great workout to focus on breathing and strength. And the space is incredible— a luxurious workout, if there ever was one.

see all reviewsJeff gets a lot of flack lol. I personally love his classes. I find them physically challenging and mentally stimulating, even if he goes off on little tangents sometimes. I don’t mind a little chuckle for during a hard and hot 75 min flow. Nothing wrong with a little comic relief. He does do hands on adjustments, and yes he should ask for permission given the climate and sometimes sad realities of this practice within the yoga community, but personally I have a lot of alignment issues/injuries so I feel I greatly benefit from being corrected and shown how it feels to be doing the poses correctly. I never feel like he’s doing so in a creepy or threatening way, however that’s just my experience. Take it or leave it. Definitely a non-traditional class setup but always an amazing, well-thought out flow.

see all reviewsI love this class but sometimes it gets a little too hot in the first floor room towards the end of the class depending on the weather outside. It was raining outside today so the room got way too steamy, someone spoke up and the outside door was briefly opened and it completely revitalized me and allowed me to focus on my form. Love this crazy intense workout but would recommend adjusting the temp when people start to struggle with form clearly due to heat

She then proceeded to give a solid class with just the right amount of encouragement. see all reviewsWhat I like best is the intensity of this class. The instructor changes it up constantly and although it can be challenging, it’s great fun. It’s the way a burn class should be structured. She has set the bar high and so far relatively few instructors can come close in matching it.

see all reviewsPros - Amazing instructor! Excellent cueing! Nice studio! Easy parking! At the end of class the instructor gave me good feedback ( However, I wish she would have made adjustments during class so I could have course corrected as I haven’t done yoga in years and I could’ve been more mindful during my practice) Cons/Opportunities- class started late; transition times for next class is tight so that I felt rushed leaving since the studio layout is all one room; towards the end of class there is a lot of noise because the next class is walking in; lastly, at most studios there is someone onsite at least 15 mins in advance of class so people can set-up and relax a bit, but it appears this studio does not operate as such, it says arrive 5 mins before.
