The class is really just a short handstand workshop- which is great because its every week and doesn’t cost as much as other workshops do. We did a solid amount of conditioning on and off the mat so its great for beginners and more advanced students

    FIERCE GRACE - ONLINE CLASS

I’ve never done a 90 min hot yoga class before but I wanted to try and I’m glad I tried it here. The heat is distributed evenly and the room is really nice. Wish people would space out their mats so more people could also be comfortable. Instructor was really great and encouraging and also offered corrections. Will definitely be back.

    Inferno Hot Pilates Express

Top 40 and tabata style class. A far cry from alignment-focused pilates, laughably so. Not my thing at all and definitely not what I was expecting, to be honest I couldn’t have disliked this more. BUT if you like this kind of thing (everyone else in class seemed to love it and it sells out often so there’s definitely an audience for it) then this is the place for you. It’s kind of like bar class meets HIIT. I would return to try one of the heated yoga offerings because the space is decent and well-maintained, and while this particular class didn’t resonate for me, the teacher was great for what it was.

Great workout! It was more high intensity/high impact than I thought it would be but loved it nonetheless. Some of the changes/instructions were a little confusing, but I think the next time I do the class it would be less confusing. Amanda, the instructor was great, too. I loved her energy and enthusiasm!

    VIRTUAL FLOW

After the class, I saw the Zoom link sent a few minutes late via email (I also signed up 4 hours before event so maybe the booking window for this class should be made 12 hours or 1 day ahead?) As I was trying to figure out how to get on, I checked the studio’s Instagram page and clicked on the Zoom link listed there instead. Therese was super fun, energetic and had a great flow! She also made sure to check our form and make adjustments. It is a bit challenging to do the practice virtually but if you listen to her cues and watch the instructor and the group move in on screen, it would almost be like being at the studio (sans heat)

Only critique is that the studio should put some shades up on the window. During downward dog or any pose where your head faces back of the room, your staring at bright sunlight pouring in. Not the easiest on the eyes. Class itself was great though.

My first time taking Bikram and it was one of the hardest workouts ever - it is as much a mental exercise to ignore the discomfort of the heat and sweating as it is physically demanding. But I loved it. As a beginner I felt 90 mins was way too long and I will take the 60 min options until Im more used to the sequence and heat/humidity.
