Elizabeth is one of the best coaches on Classpass. MRUC is all about perceived effort rather than numbers, which I love. Elizabeth was great at giving cues and and encouragement. Like most people, I didnt think that paying to run on a treadmill would be valuable, but now Im sold. Whether youre looking to add some more cardio into your workout regime, training for a race, or just looking to let go of your day to day stresses, you can find that here. I get the same type of meditative benefits as I do with spin class but with the added bonus of getting a really intense workout. The music is amazing as well. The only suggestion I have is more empowering music and less techno (which personally doesnt do anything for me). It was my first class but Im coming back for sure. Thanks Elizabeth!

Good class. Ryan is a solid instructor. His program is structured and challenging with a mix of run/pace, hills and sprints...not to much and not for too long, but just enough to challenge us. I like the repeats-in this case, 3 sets where i can do good, better, best. Music isn't the best but Ryan's classes go by in a blink and so it's easy to just run though it.

Ive never done boxing before and this was awesome. There were only 3 of us in the class for a Friday at 12:15, so we got a lot of personal attention. Started with a warmup of sprints, squat jumps, mountain climbers, sit-ups, bicycle crunches, etc. then learned shadow boxing techniques and practiced shadow boxing, then learned combinations on the punching bag and practiced those / hitting pads with the instructor. Ingrid clearly knows her stuff and was really helpful.

Ben is so great. He talks about form in a really helpful way, in order to help you become more efficient. Also he speaks in his normal voice, which I'm finding is becoming more and more of a rarity with flywheel instructors- so many of them are talking in this husky Susan Powter voice that is not only weird but also makes it so difficult to understand the cues. But not Ben! Ben is boss. Clear, warm, energetic, fun!

Jenn is so damn challenging but her classes hurt so good! By far, one of the best barre instructors, providing lengthy sets + minimal down / transition time. Not sure if I’m a fan of the new warmup format at P57, which now incorporates flat back ab work Bc it ends up taking away time from arms, so I’ve noticed we do less shoulder + back work. Otherwise this has always been my top barre in nyc. Nothing compares. Dynamic, athletic, burn worthy.

Liam’s demeanor is a sarcastic, humorous yogi that clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously, which had me a bit skeptical at the start. but his directions are spot on and his routine was thorough and deep with much attention to alignment and small adjustments if you were listening. Ended up loving the class and feeling centered and light.

    EXCEED: The Workout

Halston leads incredibly strong, challenging + sweat inducing workouts with nominal time wasted. Today included a strength section, circuit, ab section, then an AMRAP partner finisher. Only issue was that there were a lot of tricep movements that should've been focused on another muscle group to add more diversity to the movements.

Ana brings the enthusiasm and pushes the whole class to another great ride! Good beats and different format which were nice. Only complaint is I forgot to grab a towel and none of the staff came by to check my bike settings or offer me one...

Harley is very chill.... none of that crazy screaming and cursing like some other Barrys instructors do. Makes for a better atmosphere in my opinion. I like his class because you can make adjustments based on your skill level. I also prefer 3 rounds to 2 which he does.

You know that class is more intense than its usual super tough status quo when a guy stops after the 2nd station to go outside to puke. Love Ari & was so glad to see her there tonight. After the 5 min AMRAP warmup, class was 4 stations for 6 minutes each, 3-4 exercises at each, all done in the 21-15-9 breakdown. 2nd round was then 2 designated exercises at each station, each all out for 1min. Crazy good! Only issue I had is that, yet again, 1 of the stations was ALL shoulder work. I appreciate more variety than over killing a muscle group in that manner

    FLY 45

Ben was the best Flywheel instructor I've had in as long as I can remember. Great energy - he really pushed us, while keeping it fun - he's the reason I got my highest Flywheel score since I started spinning a couple years ago. Love the new bikes, too!

Demanding but fun workout. Definitely stretch before and after, and take advantage of the bananas afterwards for some Potassium to avoid muscle cramps. Don't put too much energy into the Torq Board during your first couple classes.

    Full Body (60 Minutes)

Ah-mazing!!!! Perfect combo of non stop compound movements (lunge bicep curl, renegade row pushup, squat Tricep extension, side lunge lateral raise, chest press leg lower, etc) during the 2 floor sections + an incredibly challenging mixture of endurance (numerous sets of 2min runs with increasingly speed / incline) + speed work (30sec jogs/runs/sprints on the tread. Lindsay Literally did not waste one minute of this class - 13 min 1st round + 12 min 2nd, with quick transitions, as they should be. Walked out dead but feeling so accomplished.
