    There’s no in person instructor. An audio recording plays overhead. They kept the few people there pretty spaced out. So half (maybe 5 of us) started on bags while the other 5 on floor. Class is not ideal if you’re not already familiar with the boxing punches, since there won’t be anyone there to correct you.

This class in particular isn’t for me virtually at home - there’s great strength workouts but it involved way more jumping/hopping and room work than I have space for (noisy for apt neighbors). Wish there were more modifications for space - but excited to try other classes!

    Amazing! Incredibly challenging. I had to take a 5 minute break! A mixture of calisthenics, fast paced Pilates floor work, boot camp without the weightlifting “break.” Lots of plank jacks, burpees, flutter kicks, pushups and mountain climbers, with no real pauses. Possibly the most difficult class I’ve ever taken, just for the cardio alone. You won’t miss your spinning class. The only suggestion I could make would be to add an arm sequence, maybe with light weights...but I know that goes against the spirit of “no equipment.” So good!!

Front desk staff was super nice and helpful, and even cheerful which was extra noticeable bc it was snowstorm and they were right by the door. The locker room lockers require a padlock but there are lockers right outside the locker room with keypad locks. Good array of equipment and everything was clean.

    This class is tough and I’m going to be super sore tomorrow. It’s not for beginners but if you’re already somewhat in shape, it’s an awesome workout to add to the mix. Rob is truly flawless as an instructor. He’s friendly and precise and never misses a beat. Gives good adjustments but you should have a decent understanding of Pilates reformer classes before trying this one.

    What an amazing joy-bomb of a workout! Felt like I was working out with a dancer from the dance troupe that did De La Guarda. The instructor was effervescent and tons of fun, quick with encouragement and full of brilliant innovations like playing the Mission Impossible theme while challenging us to keep from touching the floor as she gently gave us a little spin. And, in addition to being incredibly playful, the class was actually a really challenging workout. My joints are just about fed up with conventional calisthenics and I’m burned out on bootcamp and HIIT, so I was thrilled to find this class offered all the cardio and strengthening plus balance and coordination without any impact. Couldn’t ask for a better workout or a nicer instructor!
