    This was my very first climber-type class. My initial opinion is that these classes are like a weird, alien spin class. The studio is posh and well located. the instructor was energetic and helpful. but the workout itself is a really awkward for me. I'm a long time athlete, and so I'm very cautious of good form. Despite my caution, I felt a LOT of strain in my low back during this exercise. This also felt very quad-dominant, which I'm not a fan of. IDK, may be worth another try.

I liked how our first segment on the treadmill was kind of a warm up (started off walking, then jogging, then running, etc).     Kelly is a great instructor, super motivating and high energy. The tread part is a killer. Warnings: the workout is intense, definitely not recommended for people new to fitness. Not much demonstrations on the moves, or modifications. Everyone seems to know the sequence of the moves, and no real hands-on corrections on the forms.     This is probably the first Pilates style class that I actually felt like i got a good workout from! Normally these types of classes wear out my muscles, but I dont feel like I burn any calories.     This was probably the hardest sculpt class I've been to! Very intense workout. My only critique is that the instructor was so intense it almost felt like you couldn't take a water brake or a child's pose when necessary. I saw a couple girls have to leave the room which I haven't typically seen in other sculpt classes. The room is extremely hot so be prepared to work hard in this class!

    Really loved Virginia's class! She gave out really clear instructions, set the intention before class, and came around and made adjustments for those who wanted it. I loved how she introduced certain poses and demonstrated them instead of assuming we knew how to do it correctly. I could never figure out crow pose and she gave great advice on how to start it.     I thought it was a good workout and I thought Jennifer was a good teahcer. You definitely want to be done with the machine after 30 minutes, but still worked up quite a sweat. You can push it as hard as you want and take breaks when you need to and there is no pressure. It's about 7 songs of a workout plus 5 minutes if stretching at the end. The machine keeps track of time so you know where you are at. I think I would come back when I want to mix it up.

    Love it when the instructor asks for requests before class begins! Whitney also had some creative twists on standard exercises that I really enjoyed and seemed very effective. Spring strengths for leg exercises for once seemed appropriate (they usually seem too heavy to even be functional). Also loved that she covered abs from top to bottom rather than just focusing on lower abs, which seems to happen in a lot of pilates classes. Great class!

    Really enjoyed this class! Would consider myself an intermediate yogi, but the Time and location worked while I was traveling, so I signed up for this, even though it was labeled as a beginner class. I loved that we focused on one particular body part and really got a deep stretch, as well as perfected form in those positions. The instructor was patient, kind, and helpful at making small adjustments. Would highly recommend this class for any level!
