Hot Yoga 90 - In Person

Justin is possibly the best yoga teacher ever. he goes out of his way to take care of his students, always helping but never shaming. the studio itself takes great care of the students, providing mats and lavender infused cool down towels for free and bath towels at a nominal rate. wonderful studio and great Bikram practice. There is no music or distractions, only the sound of your own breath and the instructors voice.

    Align & Flow

Slow paced restorative style that was the perfect Saturday morning workout after a hard Friday night workout. The teacher had s very soothing voice and was very considerate of the different levels in class, including a pregnant student.

Naomi was super welcoming upon arrival. She was thoroughly asking questions about injuries to make sure she had a good understanding. Very clear instruction throughout the practice and suggested helpful adjustments. Plan to come back!

This class was VERY challenging, hot, & sweaty!! Toni really brought the energy to the room and was accommodating with modifications, as needed. I especially loved the relaxing meditation at the end of the class after the high intensity workout. Everyone at the studio was so nice and welcoming. This was my first class and I will surely be back for more!!!

    Stretch and Release for Athletes

I think this class is really great for stretching and taking care of your body. It’s something unique that many other studios don’t offer. I wish this class was still held in the “yoga annex” where it used to be held because it is distracting to have to hear the people doing CrossFit workouts while trying to listen to the instructor’s cues.

This was a great class and the instructor was very good. The class time was listed incorrectly though, it started at 3pm, not 3:30pm, so I missed the first 30 minutes.

    Everyone

Matt has a great teaching style that describes the postures very technically so you can make adjustments. He also took requests for areas to work on, which is appreciated. I enjoyed his class. That said, this studio needs to get it together. This is the second time I've arrived for a morning class and everyone, including employees, were locked out because no one had keys. We had to wait in the random business lobby, which doesn't start off the morning off in a very zen mood.

HPF - Hot Power Fusion: Candlelight

My first time at Core Power Yoga, and I’ve seen this chain in every major city. This was a hot yoga class with good instructions and some more descriptive names for the poses (asanas) than the original Sanskrit offers. Sone spirituality but not too much, as is trendy today. I liked this scaled down version. Great workout without too much extra stuff. I would certainly return and hope to visit other CPY locations.

    45 Minute Barr/Yoga

I didn't know what to expect because this is a very traditional yoga studio. But the class was good! Barre work with lots of abs and we didn't even use weights for arms but they still got a great workout. The class itself was barre based but the stretching sections were from yoga so it is the best of both worlds. It's only 45 minutes in the middle of the day, great when you have limited exercise time. I will definitely take this class again.
