    Always love the Classic class, and Eddie has a great simple teaching style. One comment - not a review or a reflection of the studio - someone came in wearing crazy perfume or fragrance. Coupled with the heat of the room, it gave me a headache and was also incredibly distracting. So I guess the point of this is - if you’re new to hot yoga, don’t wear crazy perfume to class. Although this goes for ANY workout class.

    I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

    BOOT CAMP (VIRTUAL)

    Coach came as me about 5-6 mins late. Not good but no biggie. Class is nonstop. No breaks whatsoever. GREAT sweat. They do alot of outdoor laps. We dis 4 today so bring a long sleeve shirt to easily slip into. There’s alot of cardio and jump squats, which I prefer. First 1/2 is mainly cardio drills: high knees, planks, outside laps around the block, bear crawls. Second 1/2 is a circuit we do two tomes followed by an outside lap. No breaks at all. No slowing down. Challenging class. Good for overall toning and to blast cals. Not good if you’re a model or dancer looking to sculpt and not bulk up. We dud extended plans that can bulk up the shoulders as well as burpees & jump squats that can bulk up the legs. Literally your agent’s nightmare. I’d still def return but modify the moves as I did today to avoid jump squats/a ton of big thigh muscle work.

    Really enjoyed it. It was the deep stretch I was looking for after soreness from spin class and on the same night I was headed to a challenging aerialist class afterward. The class seems designed to stretch you out so you can go do another workout later. (A 6:30pm dance class is offered directly after this class that seemed popular but I dont see it on Class Pass.) This studio is in the basement of a residential building with a nice garden outside to sit in if you like.
