I literally stalk the schedule to see when Jenn subs a class that I can take (nights or weekends)...she is a powerhouse who gives an amazingly challenging class with intense thighs and glutes. With the 2 thigh segments and the thigh intermission in between glutes, we covered 8 positions - the most I've ever done in a class here. She's a must-take if you have yet to experience her!

    BIX (Off Peak)

Hot damn, class was brutal tonight! 8 mins at each station with the same buy in + cash out move sandwiching a 6 min EMOM of another move: Run .2, 20 KB Swings / Row 12-18 cals, 10 erg knee tucks with 5 air squats / 20 wall balls, 4 man makers into clean, squat + press / 15 bike cals, 8-10 burpees. I generally don’t enjoy EMOMs Bc the goal count always seems to be too low + so I feel like I’m standing around doing nothing during class, but the given goals were on point. Love taking class here bc you never know what you’re walking into with the ever changing movements + profile breakdowns, but I always feel gassed when leaving.

LOVE JAMEYS ENERGY. She gets the entire class pumped and keeps us motivated. Trooper Core Strength Camp

I have a love hate relationship with this class. Its crazy how hard this class is. There was a power section and strength section. The power section didnt feel like much but the strength section was insane. The exercises (TRX and pike ups with gliders) looked easy but to do them properly with full range of motion and in a controlled way is absolutely killer. Core is the hardest muscle group to work. If you pride yourself on lifting heavy or running fast, this will be a humbling experience because theres almost no weight and its very slow paced. Im going to incorporate this class into my training more even though I hate it. I kinda wish there was an easier version of this so that I could work up to it because I felt like I couldnt even stabilize in some of the exercises so I did very little reps. Maybe next time Ill get better.

    Power Vinyasa PM - HOT

Claudia was great instructor! Really easy going vibes but led us through an awesome flow. Definitely a fast paced flow, but I really felt like I had a good workout. The studio itself is clean, but a bit cramped. The locker room is teeny tiny, barely 4 people can be in there at a time, and there are no lockers or cubbies to store your stuff. There is also a Tae Kwon Do/Karate studio downstairs which made the floors and walls rattle a ton, making it a bit hard to concentrate during the practice.

There are no appropiate changing rooms, and no showers (lets agree that no one sweats a lot at a Pilates class though) Class was very pleasent and well taught. the fact that we were only 5 made it great. I found Erica to be very knowledgeable and really had an understanding of the body and how every move was suppose to work each muscle group. It was a solid class although not something that I would say was exceptionally challenging. Erica made adjustments and spent time with each student during each exercise to correct form and give feedback. Music was old school soul and 80s pop/ which I loved. I would take the class again.

A hidden gem of a gorgeous, super clean, and well stocked personal training and small group class studio in the heart of Midtown, i.e. in the lower east 50s, where there aren’t nearly enough boutique gyms in my humble opinion. Iman was so kind, generous, knowledgeable and accommodating... challenging me every step of the way, while catering the workout to my needs and current ability level. You will be hard pressed to find personalized workouts like this anywhere else in Manhattan. I left feeling sore (in a good way), sweaty, confident and accomplished. The Yoga Experience

Class is small. Normally 3-5 people. Teacher is very helpful. It is more of a stretch class then yoga though. I really enjoy it. Also the locker room facilities are fantastic. Showers, sauna, steam rooms.

The instructor was a sub but he was great. Music was great which made the class a lot of fun. Also a great work out. Im feeling sore the next day and Im usually a two day person. The facility is very run down though.

    Barre Flow

Ended up being a 1-on-1! Danielle is amazing - it's a fusion of barre and Pilates (I suspect because I told her I didn't enjoy yoga as much so she modified for me). She was friendly and encouraging, and I had a great workout! Will definitely be back!!

    Microdermabrasion (20 Minutes)

Amazing experience. The aesthetician and front desk made me feel super comfortable and welcome. The facilities were clean and nonthreatening. The procedure was thorough and done carefully with everything explained and special care taken to meet my needs. It even ran 15 minutes long and included a mask and serum at no additional cost, which I really appreciated. Most of all, I appreciated that this wasn’t one of those spas where they insult your skin aggressively, so you feel pressured to pay for more treatments on the spot. My aesthetician actually said nice things about my skin! And I got out with exactly what I contracted for. Will definitely be back.
