    Pros: Jason is amazing. Playlist, personality, encouragement.... its all good Cons: the resistance on the bike is SO inconsistent. I turn the dial like 5 times and the gauge goes up from by maybe 1 but then toggles between 3 numbers yet turn off the resistance by like a half turn and all of a sudden you go from 6 to 2, its a little frustrating. Doesnt stop me from getting a great workout but I just wish it were more attuned to how much youre actually turning the dial.

    Loved this profile, especially after the countless painfully dreadful BX classes that I’ve attended recently, all which have been cardio + core based with no KB/DB strength movement. Workout consisted of 4, 7min stations with a buy-in cardio goal, followed by an AMRAP in remaining time of 2 other moves: 1. Run 500m / 20 jump switch lunges (I subbed in DB Reverse lunges) / 20 Plank shoulder taps 2. Row 600m / 20 KB swings / 20 SDLHP 3. 40 DB lateral box step ups over the top / 20 DB push press / 20 DB DL 4. 60 bike cals / 20 burpees / 20 air squats (I subbed in racked Squats) Overall a great mix of lower + upper body work with a solid strength component + ample cardio. The difference between EF and other boxing brands is that the workouts are very structured. Each segment was easy to follow and the workout is satisfyingly challenging.     I have a love hate relationship with this class. Its crazy how hard this class is. There was a power section and strength section. The power section didnt feel like much but the strength section was insane. The exercises (TRX and pike ups with gliders) looked easy but to do them properly with full range of motion and in a controlled way is absolutely killer. Core is the hardest muscle group to work. If you pride yourself on lifting heavy or running fast, this will be a humbling experience because theres almost no weight and its very slow paced. Im going to incorporate this class into my training more even though I hate it. I kinda wish there was an easier version of this so that I could work up to it because I felt like I couldnt even stabilize in some of the exercises so I did very little reps. Maybe next time Ill get better.

There are no appropiate changing rooms, and no showers (lets agree that no one sweats a lot at a Pilates class though) Class was very pleasent and well taught. the fact that we were only 5 made it great.     The front desk person was very welcoming and friendly- she gave a brief tour of the facility. Its a little odd as far as the setup I think theres a chiropractor who shares the space? I found Erica to be very knowledgeable and really had an understanding of the body and how every move was suppose to work each muscle group. It was a solid class although not something that I would say was exceptionally challenging. Erica made adjustments and spent time with each student during each exercise to correct form and give feedback. Music was old school soul and 80s pop/ which I loved. I would take the class again.

    EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) Workout

    Its pretty great. 20 min equals roughly an hours work out. Takes a few sessions to get used to and hard to feel like anythings getting worked. But was soooo sore the days following I new it was on point! Wouldnt advise doing it to much but mixed in with classes its feels like a great buffer. Jacob is a sweet heart.
