Very nice venue. super clean and cute. everything seems new. There are no appropiate changing rooms, and no showers (lets agree that no one sweats a lot at a Pilates class though) Class was very pleasent and well taught. the fact that we were only 5 made it great. Im not a fam of Pilates as it is on the weaker side of the workout for me, but for those who are into it i highly recommend.

    Cardio Kick/Strength Build

A hidden gem of a gorgeous, super clean, and well stocked personal training and small group class studio in the heart of Midtown, i.e. in the lower east 50s, where there aren’t nearly enough boutique gyms in my humble opinion. Iman was so kind, generous, knowledgeable and accommodating... challenging me every step of the way, while catering the workout to my needs and current ability level. You will be hard pressed to find personalized workouts like this anywhere else in Manhattan. I left feeling sore (in a good way), sweaty, confident and accomplished. Great to try for any fitness level, especially if you have some kinks in your form/ fitness regimen that you suspected need addressing but weren’t sure how or who to ask.

Rico always has the best music (shout out playing 2 phones by Kevin gates) and attitude, but Im not sure how any of the swerve studios stay open. That class probably couldve fit 40/50 people and only 10 people were in the class. Every class Ive ever taken has always been so empty. I feel bad for the instructors having to try to stay pumped for such a small crowd. They also have such great amenities. I think swerve needs to work on their marketing for 2019.

    Signature II

What a surprisingly phenomenal class by Rachel! I’ve seen coming to P57 for close to 6 years now + as of recent, it’s been tough finding instructors who provide incredibly challenging + intense classes in the likes of Chad, Sarah H, Erin B + Jenn W, but Rachel met the mark + I’ll most definitely be seeking her out again. She gave us a non-stop workout with well-rounded, thought out + thorough sections, plus I love how she split up our core work by including a different section throughout class (flat back after arms, round back with the band after our first set of glutes, then c curve at end of the hr), instead of lumped together at the end. I totally got a great sweat in too, which is always a testament of a solid class for me as an athlete when it comes to barre.

Amazing! Perhaps my new fave instructor at Title. 15 minutes of intense cardio agility drills, followed by 45 minutes of boxing (increasingly complex boxing combos to practice and improve) with excellent advice and training, including specific corrections for each student (Michael takes time to address most students in class personally at least once during the hour), followed by 5 minutes of efficient core work. Great soundtrack as well! Take a class with the franchise owner himself! You won’t regret it!

    Power Vinyasa PM - HOT

Claudia was great instructor! Really easy going vibes but led us through an awesome flow. Definitely a fast paced flow, but I really felt like I had a good workout. The studio itself is clean, but a bit cramped. The locker room is teeny tiny, barely 4 people can be in there at a time, and there are no lockers or cubbies to store your stuff. There is also a Tae Kwon Do/Karate studio downstairs which made the floors and walls rattle a ton, making it a bit hard to concentrate during the practice.

    Barre Flow

Ended up being a 1-on-1! Danielle is amazing - it's a fusion of barre and Pilates (I suspect because I told her I didn't enjoy yoga as much so she modified for me). She was friendly and encouraging, and I had a great workout! Will definitely be back!!

    Adult (Intermediate) @ Bart's Church

Angelica taught this one. She is far and away my favorite intermediate teacher yet! She gave us helpful drills to correct our form and did a great job tailoring the class to students' specific needs. I hope to take with her again soon!

    OxyTrio Facial

Marina was very personable and did a great job! This facial massage was extremely relaxing—best part of the facial. Only minimal discomfort upon applying acids (only lasts a few seconds). This was perfect for what I needed because I didn’t want extractions done right before an interview—just a healthy glow. Keep in mind you need to leave the treatment on for at least 8 hours before washing off. Looking forward to seeing how long these results last! Would definitely come back for another treatment.
