Nothing does me as good as a hot yoga class. The heat and the inner peace I find in these classes is seriously amazing. I feel blessed, renewed, and happy anytime I get out of class. This studio is much cleaner and nicer than soho with great showers. I recommend always.

Loved the flows, Michelle has a chill but direct voice, music was good, and loved the thoughtful insights at the end. Not into standing poses - and the studio is darker (in other words- a liiiiitle too dark) than soho’s, so the studio only gets 4 stars. Sorry. Overall the best yoga studio in the city. IMO

Loved this class! Ashley was an awesome leader. The flow was challenging and very well paced. I typically don’t like hot yoga but this was at a perfect level that made me feel more flexible and invigorated. And the music was everything!! Probably not for beginners but if you already like yoga, this is such a fun and unique way to take your practice to the next level.

Charlotte was very welcoming. I appreciated that, b/c it was my first time taking a hot yoga class. She went through 3 different flow routines, and each one had 3 repetitions. First time thru, poses were held a little longer as she talked us through the movements. Second time thru, a bit quicker. Third time thru, she invited us to go at our own pace, taking the poses that most spoke to us from what she’d just led. It was during the 3rd time of each set that the music was cranked up high so we could just concentrate on our own moves and bodies. Candle-lit studio was very soothing. After this experience, which included lots of sweating, I am up for trying another hot yoga class! If you take this, just remember to hydrate during the class.

WOW. I was hesitant about this class because the studio isn’t as nice as all the boutique studios in Williamsburg (not to say it’s not clean or suitable- just not equipped with luxury locker rooms and instagram worthy walls). This is TRUE yoga, not the BS y7 hip hop and core sculpt. Riji is the teacher I’ve been looking for- tactile and explains how each form and posture is supporting your body, AND teaches you how to breathe properly and prepare for vinyasa flows rather than jumping right into it which so many teachers do and it’s frustrating. She gave a few hands-on adjustments, which seemed well received, and also demoed poses that involved slightly more complex transitions. Katonah Restorative

This class can be challenging in ways very different from a typical restorative class (which presents its challenge in stillness) and from a typical flow class (which presents a challenge in pushing through and also in the potential for injury that exists in most flow classes from poor alignment). Kyle has a wealth of knowledge. The adjustments here really help put your body in proper alignment. (Not that purposeless moving and arm an inch I find elsewhere). More than all of it though, what I love is that Kyle makes jokes (and he’s funny). A good reminder that yoga is about play and not merely “doing a workout” or “getting a good stretch.” This may not be what you expect yoga or restorative to be like, and that’s a good thing.

The instructor had a great energy. The class was different but very good - constant movement, a bit of a mix of physical therapy influenced yoga with tai chi. There was an active stretch warm up and then the focus was on cardiovascular work through breath tied to movements.

    Vinyasa | Level 2-3 w/Music

Such an incredible class. An intense flow but in the best way. Megna was really friendly and positive AND there was live music (!!!) — someone playing the guitar and another playing the flute. Really loved this class and can’t wait to come back.

    Shanti Flow

Great class with a clear focus on alignment. I felt strong, stretchy, and challenged. Jamies cues were clear and precise and helped me to deepen into each pose and check my own alignment. Her occasional readjustments were welcome and helpful. Good energy!

    DMCW Yoga Wheel

This was one of the best yoga classes I’ve ever had. The yoga wheel is one of the best discoveries of my life. The instructor was a true yogi—gentle and supportive. I stood on my head in the middle of the room for the first time. I can’t wait to go back.

    Kundalini Yoga + Sound Healing

Amazing, magical, intense and shifting. I would recommend you know a little bit about kundalini before going to this class. It is truly spiritual and an understanding of the kundalini foundations alongside an open heart are necessary. Class goes on longer than 9pm so don’t have somewhere to go right after. The sound journey was divine. I will be back! Satnam!
