This was my first time at Mile High and I loved it. Basically a spin class on treadmill. Great music. Good vibes. And I appreciated that you can pace the class as works for your own body. The instructor Christy was great. Will def be back.

Really good class. Even though it was only 28 minutes of running, if you put your hardest you can get a really good sweat and the weighted section in his class is really good. I wish they had a 60 minute class that was high 45 and 15 minutes of weights

    Switch40 - Underground Ab-Lab

The class flies by bc you do so many different exercises. It’s mostly low impact and mostly abs but he throws in a few minutes of calisthenics to get the heart rate up- just be warned for that. I love Ethan’s energy and think he’s an up and coming instructor who clearly loves what he does. I’d encourage him to give more hands on correction for form, and to talk a little less. His words will have more purpose and power if he chooses them more wisely (right now he talks he whole time). A really great sweat and efficient workout!

Less hard than usual but still fun! Also would recommend to the studio to label the resistance bands given they were used in multiple stations but you dont have time between rounds to test out which band is best suited for the next exercise

Ben is so great. He talks about form in a really helpful way, in order to help you become more efficient. Also he speaks in his normal voice, which I'm finding is becoming more and more of a rarity with flywheel instructors- so many of them are talking in this husky Susan Powter voice that is not only weird but also makes it so difficult to understand the cues. But not Ben! Ben is boss. Clear, warm, energetic, fun!

This class is good for people who want a total body strength workout. It's in circuits and everyone has their own station which is nice. I liked Jenna a lot she was nice and not intimidating. Very welcoming and she offered many modifications either advanced or easier. Just wish the class were longer.

This was my first boxing class, which I mentioned when I checked in & the studio manager and class instructor, Mike, were both great about giving me instruction. Awesome hip-hop playlist - Mike had us matching our moves with the music tempo. Super sweaty workout with great intensity. Boxing drills mixed w some plyo metrics and ab work at the end. Find a partner who is at your level. I recommend getting to class early because there was a line to get our hands wrapped. Also, be prepared to purchase wraps $10-15. Gloves and mats were still sweaty from previous users, but I'm not a germophobe.

First time here and think it is now my favorite of all boxing studios in NYC. This class was exactly what I was looking for. Think of it as a lightly heated restorative yoga class where you hold a each position for about 2 minutes with the use of props (blocks/sandbags/blanket) to help you really open up into it. I also really enjoyed the instructors music choice. I often find the vinyasa classes at this studio to be a bit too loud but I found the volume in yin to be appropriately tempered

Really great class! Pilates is always a toss up for me bc I have a spinal fusion and I have some limitation in what I can do, but I was able to talk to the instructor before class and she was super helpful and helped make suggestions for modifications. Other instructors I've had in the past at other studios only focused on my limitations which really sucked, but Jenni was very accommodating and I got a great workout too! Highly recommend!

Pilates is a lot harder than it looks. Especially if you are very thoughtful about it and do it properly. this worked muscles other workouts neglect, sych as hamstrings, and smaller more subtle muscles in the core. It is a very core intensive workout. I have done to beginner classes one with Katherine and one with Sean. Sean's was a little bit harder, but they were both very good introductory classes. If you have never done Pilates, or haven't done it in a long time, you should definitely take this beginner class. the SOHO Studio is beautiful, but I found the Greenwich Village Studio a little more welcoming

    Gym Time

It feels good to do some cardio on your own terms. I like this location because you can entertain yourself with people watching while on the treadmill. Also there's a big room for group classes that is perfect for stretching if you get lucky and there's no class.

    Bounce

New to this studio. Top floor is the hit / bounce studio. Bounce is a trampoline choreographed class with intermittent weights, pushup, abs section. It takes a little time to get used to bouncing but even if you don’t get every move ur still working out. My calves were burning I think if you are into step classes the concept is similar except on a trampoline.

Amazing workout, was dripping sweat within the first 20 minutes. Instructor is super friendly and did a great job of mixing cardio and strength. He also taught some true boxing combos which was cool

    SWERVE RIDE

Great class! I liked the team aspect of the class. It made it fun and focused on the riding rather than dancing around on the bike. Also - I read a comment that class passers always get placed in the blue team. True to form, I was indeed placed on the blue team.
