    CONDITIONING: TOTAL BODY (INTERMEDIATE)

Good workout. Some advice to newbies: treat the warm up like a warm up. Don’t worry about setting a pace or keeping up. A warm up doesn’t mean going 100% from the start. Need to build up to it. Another huge tip for beginners: in the warm up stay in the middle. Do NOT be in the back or the line or front (try to avoid being the first or last 2-3 people). If you’re in the middle it tends to be a little slower or a pace and you’re not pushing to keep up as much. Same for the speed work or group exercises after the warm up: try to be the 2nd or 3rd group for anything. Gives you more of a chance to recover.

    PILATES SCULPT

Samantha is amazing and I love this class! Its a slow burn, definitely not your traditional pilates class and so much fun! I like how the exercises are varied so you’re not constantly doing the same thing, definitely keeps you on your toes and makes the class go really fast! And great playlist too

    SIGNATURE CIRCUIT SESSION

I haven’t been here since before the pandemic, and feels so great to be back. I was avoiding because I was intimidated of feeling out of shape, but this is a really great place and fun class to start with. It was a challenge to finish, but felt so good to manage to so do so. Def will be sore tomorrow, but can’t wait to come back.

Jaimie is such an A+ instructor— I wish I could take her class everyday. I would if I could! The class is challenging yet possible, and her music game is on point. My only minus is that the music and speakers are so loud that my ears ring after class. Maybe they should supply single use earplugs they do at some other studios?

    Signature SCULPT

First time in a while where I left the class genuinely excited for the next one! Sam and Chris’ energy was what really drove the class to be so fun from start to finish. Sam also took time before the class to go over proper form for newcomers, which I really appreciated. Can’t wait to go back!

    Body Camp: STRENGTH [IN-STUDIO ONLY]

Love this studio. Dynamic warm up. Class today used kettlebells, sandbags and bodyweight strength movements and featured multiple rotating stations. Instructor was great and offered encouragement and correction to form.

    SOHO - SURF & SHORE @ ARLO SOHO ROOFTOP - BEG/INT

What a fun class. I went with a friend. In the summer, It’s 12 people on a rooftop doing ab and balance work on surfboards that are set On Balance balls. This guy seems to know a lot about surfing (I know nothing), so it was an educational and fun session. I’d go back for the workout personally, not sure if I have an interest in surfing—both motives were welcome though. If you did have an interest, it sounds like a fun place to meet people.

Jamie and Craig took it up a notch in this class! First timers - it's really challenging in the beginning but worth it to come back. It took me quite a few classes before I could completely follow a new routine. Plus routines are repeated for the following 2-3 weeks before a new one is taught.
