    BURNOUT (endurance)

We had Jane and Alec in class today which was such a treat! 2 instructors are great. And both of them were attentive to form and really encouraging. Alec always offers modifications too which is unexpected but an added bonus in a burnout class. My issue with this studio is that the people here seem to be more into taking pictures than actually working out. People were actively complaining about planking in this burnout class. Not cool. Totally took away from class.

    Muay Thai Kickboxing

Always a good class. Compared to other boxing studios it’s more rounds of boxing moves and less burpees/squats etc. which I like. I can do my own squats and jumping jacks. Also the bishop is softer on your shin when you kick hard so it’s a better workout with no bruising!

Xiomara is an awesome teacher!!! I had an injury and so did another student and she tailored things that gave us a great workout without further injury - ie - she gives great cues and really understands the body - most teachers ask about your injury (if at all) and then forget about it for the rest of class- phenomenal class.

What a great studio! I read the type of class wrong and mistakenly showed up without sneakers. (You dont need shoes for a regular Sculpt class, but you need them for Cardio Sculpt). Gorgeous space with bridge views and tin ceilings - like the perfect apartment, but for yoga. Jess was a great teacher - direct, specific, and expert. Nice to find a place that does hands-on adjustments but doesnt have a touchy-feely vibe. Would have liked a bit more attention to breathing, but overall Id strongly recommend and return to this class.

Rich brings a lot of intensity to workout so that you are dripping sweat right away. Very challenging and cardio intensive. Yoga at the end is nice but I wish he focused more on form and alignment. His postures are a bit too fast paced and ambitious for a 15 min yoga component. All around great workout

The room gets a bit warm and as far as my experience they don't offer fans/ventilation The practice was super wholesome and complete. Interesting ways of getting into familiar poses and great hands on adjustments. As challenging as you make it. At the end the use of aromatherapy and sounds combined with the elimination of visual sense bathe you into a deep relaxing corpse pose. No lockers Two small clean bathrooms Free water and surprise tonic The place inspires community and creativity A great intimate space to lounge after

    Vinyasa Flow

Kevin is one of the best teachers I’ve found in nyc. Dynamic vinyasa. Fluid. Excellent cueing. And vigorous. I’ve been looking for a class like this for a while and hope he keeps it a strong practice that makes you sweat. I’d love for my fellow yogis who want beautiful, challenging vinyasa without it being a pop culture rave to come to this class and keep it live! Oh and fantastic music

    Salsa - Beginner

Jimmy is great! He breaks down each step clearly and teaches at a good pace. This is definitely a great class for beginners as I had very little experience in salsa. By the end of the class I was able to pickup the fundamental moves of the dance. The class was quite small with only 3 other students but I didn’t mind as it felt more personal. The facilities are very clean and the staff is friendly. My only bit is that Jimmy has a slight accent so it was tough initially to understand his explanations.
