    HIIT - Total Body

Interval training seems so straightforward and kinda basic, but Chris exemplifies how a good instructor takes it to the next level. He’s so clear and crisp that you don’t have to struggle to remember every station. And damn, was I sore.

Wow! This is the second time Ive been to Ratio, and they keep upping the game with upgrades to the studio and equipment all around. Sevanas class was so fun and challenging, with a well-crafted playlist and performance-driven ride. I like rhythm + numbers as a former dancer and competitive athlete this class perfectly blended both worlds. Hard to find that in LA. The service is top-notch. Cant wait for next time!

I’ve been to a few spin studios, but this was by far my favorite. The instructor hung out before and after to chat with people and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The same is true of the front desk staff. They have snacks, coffee, water, and shoes that are complimentary. And it’s a beautiful space. I loved the little monitor that tells you what resistance and speed you’re at. It helped me push myself more than at other studios.

I’ve been to a lot of Brittany’s classes and today felt a little bit easier. My condition aside, the routine was AS rigorous... my speculation is that they got a lot of new riders (new year signups!) so they wanted to make it more beginner friendly at least for the first few weeks? Obviously, riders can make it as hard and challenging as they wish, so I still had an amazing time. Her song pick for stair climbing in second position is peeeeerfect.

Bobby is the best!!! The power went out during song #2 - at first I was nervous a no-music ride would be odd but it was the most challenging and fun rides I’ve taken in awhile! Penny was great, it was my first time at the studio and she made sure to introduce herself to me, said a brief overview of the studio and set me up on the bike. I LOVED this class! Olivia was amazing! She did the workout with us, was sweating herself, and kept everyone motivated. I actually believe her (some instructors are sometimes TOO peppy), and she knew right when to give that extra verbal push to stay with it. The music was fantastic - lots of powerful female artists and I actually caught myself feeling inspired and that exercise high. Definitely recommend!
