    HIIT: Total Body (Indoor- VAX PROOF REQUIRED)

    I’ve been coming to this studio for almost a year now and I have no complaints as I absolutely love it here!!! They offer spin, HIiT and yoga classes but I partake in the HIiT the most. Jackson and Kate are amazing at creating station sequences that have never repeated themselves and always leave you feeling proud of your accomplishments. I’ve been able to acquire balance and a healthy stress and weight level thanks to Hype and their wonderful staff. All the instructors and the welcoming staff deserve more than five stars!!!

    This was an awesome class. Definitely recommend. The class was challenging yet accessible. I loved the mix of mat Pilates, sculpt, and TRX moves. There is also a lack of mat Pilates classes in Santa Monica. Will definitely be back for this class.

    This was my first time and I loved the class! The mat made it easier to follow along so you know what your foot placement should be and it was a nice challenging, low impact class with lots of stretching movements.     Prima was absolutely amazing. She is an excellent teacher so kind and sweet. I have been coming to Studio MDR since Lisa opened it eight, nine years ago? And I have taken classes with most teachers that have come through the years. Prima knows how to and does give modifications for advanced and beginners for every move which is a testament to her consistency. I will make it a goal to take every class with her from now on. And she knew that I was coming back after a break off and took the special effort to write me an email to walk me back which I have never received from any teachers at the studio. Brava!

    Exercising at the beach is the best type of workout! Jody was positive and encouraging. There was a wide variety of exercises that definitely got my heart rate up. Just be warned parking at the meters is tough on a weekend. The parking lot only gave me a flat rate option of $12 then rejected all my cards forcing me to use cash. And it only took singles and fives. Makes no sense. Will do this class again because I love the beach but may switch to another day when parking is easier or come extra early to avoid the parking lot.

    What an amazing class! probably one of the hardest classes Ive taken a while, but Stephanie is an incredible instructor. She teaches exercises that help correct ailment of the body and techniques to strengthen core. I am recovering from an injury and she really took the time to guide me through each exercise. I feel hopeful and less pain after taking just this one class and can benefit more from this than any other treatment modality I have done. I Encourage everyone to try it and challenge themselves.     Go Gracie! Really really enjoyed this class! Gracie walked us very eloquently through each move, no jargon, no unnecessary over talking, just easygoing and empowering. Each movement made me feel elongated, lean, and powerful.     Really clear instruction, friendly instructor. Good modifications offered for both less and more advanced people (if it isn’t hard enough, add more springs!) I prefer the machines here to ones I’ve tried elsewhere. Masks are optional, which I appreciate. Overall great, will def be back!!
