    Beginner's Yoga

This class was the pace I really wanted. I felt welcome and really appreciated the instructor Nacera. Front desk did not greet me because there is self check in and a lot going on but it felt warm and inviting anyway. A few people arrived after class had begun. I’m glad people were able to come in late because I would like to be given that grace myself if it were to happen in the future. I liked that the instructor acknowledged even the late arrivals and how she introduced herself by name a few times. I learned a lot from participating in this class since the focus is explaining. Parking was a dollar in the back lot.

    Veda Sculpt Infrared Heated

The class was unconscionably full. You can not safely have 30+ people in a room of that size for a class like yoga sculpt. There was less than 3 inches of space between mats. There were 5 rows of 6 (at least). If you’re jumping, or stretching, or punching, or extending in any way, there is a high likelihood you will bump or hit someone. With a heated class, the temperature will raise several degrees higher than what they set it at - that seems dangerous too. I left before the class began because I was so uncomfortable with the ethics of how everyone was being crammed into the room. I’ve been coming to Veda for months and have enjoyed the classes, but after this most recent one…I don’t think I’ll be back again soon. The people who come here deserve a safe space to practice yoga & movement, and it seems that is not a priority here anymore.

Intro to AIR® (Adult Beginner Level Class)

It was great beginner class. The space is intimate enough for the instructor to walk around and see if anyone needed help. She explained everything well. It’s definitely difficult though and you really need to use your gut and upper body to do a lot of the moves but it was a lot of fun!
