see all reviewsGreat class! Loves the instructors personality, guidance, and music and always love the vibe at Pharos. My one critique (not of just this class but in a lot of the train classes) is the type of abdominal/core exercises that are offered. I don’t find many Sit up variations to be very functional or effective like the clam sit ups we did today. I think more integrated core work like planks, Russian twists with medicine balls, or some Pilates inspired moves are a lot better in terms of building strength, seeing results, and functionality. Integrated core work is also better for people who are pregnant or have given birth in the past year to prevent diastasis recti. Just my two cents. Still a 5 star class!

I had taken the week off and worked so hard that I felt nauseous by the end. Definitely a perfect HITT class to get your daily cardio fix yet, it also builds strength. If you don’t like sarcasm and enjoying a much needed laugh while you’re dying in class then maybe try another instructor, but personally that’s all I’m ever looking for! Great music and he encourages pushing yourself to your limit, but emphasizing not everyone has them same threshold. Just being honest with yourself on your goals. Highly recommend to bring fun to pushing yourself to your limits and getting stronger mentally and physically!

I’m no runner so it was pretty tough but it’s nice that you can take breaks and walk when you need to. I’d definitely take another class!
