Super fun, exhausting class but there are two things I struggle with - its always super hot and class rarely end at 8. I feel that with a 90 minute window we should be finishing on time and out there door at 8 but its generally 8:10.

Great class - its hot yoga in a dark candlelit room, its trendy, you do 3 flows, and it includes a bunch of ab work too. Youll be sweating. My only wish would be that there were other options for the 3rd flow (which at least was the most challenging for this class) that didnt involve balancing on one leg or doing a handstand - both of which my uncoordinated self struggles with :) It would be great to have more beginner level options for those more advanced moves.

    Exhale Barre

I write this every wk, but Alex is one of the best core fusion instructors (top 5 for sure!), always providing challenging profiles + making the most use of the hour. Prepare for 4 sets of thighs with a glute intermission, both a barre + floor glute set, 2 plank series, then lengthy flat back + round back ab series. He’s incredibly attentive + hands on, all while keeping his cues on point. Wish he trained other instructors Bc they should all be on this level of intensity!

    exhale Cardio

This was my first core fusion cardio class, and I actually liked it better than the cardio+barre version. I thought Rachel was really encouraging, but I wish she did more with us instead of walking around individually because everyone was on a different side and it was distracting. I also would have liked more correction on form if she was going to keep coming around. All in all a great class!

    Exhale Barre

Maybe one of the best classes I've taken with Alex - super long thigh set with 5 different positions that got us burning + 5 different sets of abs throughout class that hit everything. He does tend to get very distracted while correcting student's form, resulting in us either doing far more reps on one side compared to the other or skipping something that was done on the other side.

As a regular Tuesday night class goer, I have to say that this may have been the toughest class Ken has ever given us. Basic but hard as all hell. After the typical warmup in the studio then a farmers carry to Madison Ave plus a non stop 6 min ab series, the workout was 7 rounds of the following : 20 American KB swings, 15 air squats & 5 burpees before a sprint to Madison & back to be done as fast as possible. Most clocked in at ~2 mins so there was a minute rest before the next round. First time I've seen ppl splayed out all over the fitness floor once we finished.

Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Also loved that the studio has lots of windows that let in great natural light and found the scent of eucalyptus in the air refreshing. Front desk could’ve been warmer and more welcoming, but I guess even yogis need a day off from letting their inner light of love shine.

Not as challenging (especially in cardio) as it could be but still a great class and excellent instructor . My only complaint is that this studio is so disgusting and really needs to be fixed up and cleaned up! They painted it recently, but that is not nearly enough to keep a hot yoga studio clean and sanitary and not disgusting feeling. They should take notes from Y7, sweat and some of the other hot yoga studios about how to do this better.

Hayley was great clear instructions and nice energy. The class was definitely a flow class - quick pose changes and not terribly long holds, though it was much better-paced than some ultra-fast flow classes. The postures were all standard Vinyasa/Hatha; none too difficult, but nice and challenging if executed with concentration and corrections. We couldve used slightly longer periods of pre- and post-shivasanas/Savasanas could be accomplished by removing one posture or at least holding the class a bit longer at the end (there didnt seem to be anything happening in the studio immediately afterwards). Overall - a great class, good flow, and a very nice room relaxing and simple. Also excellent value for 4 credits. Will def. be back.

Edward is amazing! Lots of personal tips and instruction. Class is challenging but also grounding. I left feeling amazing and learning a lot about my body's tendencies in yoga. Great studio overall.

Studio is clean and the instructor was very attentive and helpful to this first timer. I did not see the note to bring a FULL SIZED BATH TOWEL so they generously loaned me one at no charge this time. my small towels still got plenty of use. bring all the towels, really. Hot yoga is something else.

Great class for learning the crow pose and headstand... class overall is slower paced with deep holds. Teacher encouraged people to use the wall for headstand as well as assisted anyone who needed help. It can be a little loud in the big room as you can hear the cars honking but not a big deal.

    Vinyasa Flow

Only critique is that the studio should put some shades up on the window. During downward dog or any pose where your head faces back of the room, your staring at bright sunlight pouring in. Not the easiest on the eyes. Class itself was great though.

    Vinyasa Flow

Kevin is one of the best teachers I’ve found in nyc. Dynamic vinyasa. Fluid. Excellent cueing. And vigorous. I’ve been looking for a class like this for a while and hope he keeps it a strong practice that makes you sweat. I’d love for my fellow yogis who want beautiful, challenging vinyasa without it being a pop culture rave to come to this class and keep it live! Oh and fantastic music
