Fun, tough workout. I was expecting it to be Barry’s or fhitting room hard. It felt probably comparable to a fair fhitting room workout and a light to medium Barry’s workout. For sure what you put in is what you get out. Clear instructions, motivating instructor. Wish it were an hour long at 15-16 credits.

Matt had awesome music, great energy, and kept it positive. The only thing about the DASH 28 class is that the strength portion is too short to focus on all body sections, they should do different regions on different days of the week or per class to keep it focused.

Good god - Wow! I started taking Gabe a few years ago + I have to say that his programming has progressed to an extraordinary level of challenge + intensity since that time. Tonight covered everything from swings, goblet squats, strict press, Trx rows, plyo lunges, DLHP, a few core movements, plank pull throughs, med ball slams, burpees, jump rope, squat thrusters done b/w a 15 min strength section, 10 min AMRAP + 6 min EMOM, plus a 6 min warmup of row, ski + bike. Loved the variety!

This is exactly what I needed tonight to take my mind off work stress - a brutally challenging, sweat dripping, curse word inducing, muscle burning class. A 7 min warmup AMRAP followed by a 4 station, 3 exercise, 5 min AMRAP, ending with round 2 of the stations, doing 2 of the 3 exercises for 1 min each all out. The Rep ask for each exercise could've been higher, but all in all, it allowed for continual movement, and multiple round completion (i.e. Row 10 cals; 8 erg knee tucks, 10 DB squat to thrust). Love brick & their ever changing programming!

    FlyBarre Sport

This class was harder than expected. Youll do bursts or cardio and then do weighted, more targeted work between those bursts. We never touched the barre once, and it was much more intense than expected. Lots of equipment was used, but never got a single adjustment or feedback from the instructor which cant be annoying when youre new to a studio using equipment you never used. Regardless, I felt the burn and will probably be returning for another shot now that I understand the format.

Danielle - Boss Lady! Floor workout was nonstop. Danielle did an excellent job at cueing up the sequence. She lined it up and laid it out for us and we went at it. HARD. Tread work was a bit of it all - jog, run, sprint and some incline. There are about 5 treads at the Park Ave studio that are around a corner. Danielle walked the floor and made sure to check on those few. NO out-of-sight-of mind; she was watching everyone. Great coach; great instruction. And the music! Brazilian Funk. Legal!

    FLOW

Ok so Ive taken a lot of classes and Im pretty honest in my reviews and I absolutely loved this. The instructor was great, energetic, and music was good. The workout itself included yoga movements but used a lot of weights and squats so It was a great combo of different movements. The temperature was perfect. I had on a tee shirt and leggings and was sweating, working out in AC is an absolute genius idea for the summer. The facilities were also great the bathrooms were nice and clean, the showers were different they were more of a mist but if you move it closer its better. Overall loved it and will be back to try the other classes soon!

OCR (Obstacle Course Training) TROOPER BOOT CAMP

A challenging workout but so much fun! I wouldnt say its the hardest class on Classpass just because you can go at your own pace since its mostly working through stations. The hardest part was probably the nonstop burpees during the warmup. This was the first time I did a rope climb. Rich was amazing. Very encouraging and helpful and funny. Nothing but good vibes in this class. Its definitely a unique class due to the equipment (rope and monkey bars) which means you get a good forearm workout.

Lovely little workout today. (When I say little, this actually an understatement.) It's funny because as we were warming up I was thinking about how in the times that I've been there, we've never used a few of the equipment. Well we used them today. We did runs with sandbags and over some boxes, along with the usual grueling activities! Today's music selection was mostly hip hop from the past 5-10 years

    HAIL Interval Training

Instructor had great energy and was very motivating. Could have paid attention to form a little more. Loved the set up of class. Circuits were shorter and not repetitive, and each circuit focused on a different part of the body.

    30/60/90 Classic

For all the people who miss step classes! The class is hiit plus step. They use a small square step with heavy and light set of weights. Class is modifiable for all levels. Less steps, less heavy weights, teacher gave lots of modifiers for newbies. Non stop timed intervals with fun music. There seemed to be a lot of regulars from limelight / equinox days. Studio is new with padded floors and fun changing backlights. There is a gym in the front for private clients. Filtered fountain, shower, changing areas, combo locks with chargers inside. Will definitely be back with friends!

    HILIIT (High Intensity Low Impact)

I have been to various studios via ClassPass and this studio is one of my favorites. It is small and intimate, Jeni makes sure your form is correct. You sweat! But while it is hard, it also leaves you feeling energized for the rest of the day.

Jay is by far the best instructor here. I've taken class with Alicia, Jenna, and Hugo- Jay was the friendliest, most motivational, and consistent with checking form. He's played the best music I've had to workout to, too.

I do megaformer classes all the time and WOW Kelly killed me. Clear instructions and cues and she held all of us accountable, making sure we burned out. Highly recommend her!

Could ask for a better class for strengthening stabilizing muscles. Regan is a true mechanic in the way she helps everyone tune up their form to target the postural and hip-girdle muscles, which helps prevent and fix lifting imbalances and running injuries.
