    Rumble Boxing

One of the best fully body workouts in NY. Spencer had great energy. a bit difficult to hear over the music, but all of the instructions are projected on the wall so it’s not a big deal.

Fun, tough workout. I was expecting it to be Barry’s or fhitting room hard. It felt probably comparable to a fair fhitting room workout and a light to medium Barry’s workout. For sure what you put in is what you get out. Clear instructions, motivating instructor. Wish it were an hour long at 15-16 credits.

I liked Delen- he was tough but I like instructors that push you so if you are looking for a lot of you cant do it you wont get that here. He did come around and thank everyone individually at the end of class. The workout was hard and with more practice I think it will be more effective. For my first time I felt challenged for sure. The gym is not fancy if you are looking for that this is not the place for you. Definitely will be back

    SHADOWBOX - STANDARD

First time here and think it is now my favorite of all boxing studios in NYC. At the beginning of the class, the instructor showed us how to do different boxing moves before we started on the bags, unlike other studios I have been to. We did 7 rounds, with a cardio break in between bag sessions. Was really tired by the end. No complaints whatsoever

Excellent coach. Ran a well-rounded, intense but manageable class, and gave patient and effective one-on-one instruction to students throughout. Im a lefty, and should fight southpaw, but rarely do bc boxing instructors always teach traditional style and its hard for me to adjust. But Willie took the time to give me specific southpaw instructions during the more detailed combinations. Also I got a better sweat than I have at a boxing class in a long time. The warm up, the core section, the boxing rounds, they were killer, in a room that I suspect was kept hot on purpose. Not a dry brow in the house! One minor somewhat related complaint. The studio gets a bit stinky of feet and other stuff. A little of the powerful air freshener I’ve noticed at other boutique gyms would go a long way here!

Amazing workout, was dripping sweat within the first 20 minutes. Instructor is super friendly and did a great job of mixing cardio and strength. He also taught some true boxing combos which was cool

    ROADxSTRENGTH

New instructor to this class, and possibly my favorite yet. Really intense workout in both tread and weight portions, gave excellent form connections when needed, was supportive and inspirational, and helped everyone get the most out of the hour, regardless of individual skill level. Tread tip for this instructor in particular: Be conservative with the speeds you choose to start out each round, bc she will make you increase by a full point or more per hour during the interval, regardless of incline. You’ve been warned!

I haven't done kickboxing in a couple of years and the instructor was conscious in making sure I was keeping up and adjusted my technique. Good mix of bags and other workouts (e.g. planks, squats, etc.)

Always love leaving a class sweating (esp bc Im not much a sweater!). + small group allows for more focus on technique + instructor builds up the combos at each iteration, so its not crazy combos (as other boxing classes) + good amount of bag work in Suggestion: while there are varying levels for students, it would be great if coached each student for roughly same amount of time, rather than focusing more on those beginners. Everyone could always improve more!

    NINJA HIIT

Very energetic and motivating instructor. Class is very intense but goes by super fast. First 25 min of class today was a combination of body weight exercises and boxing air punching variations. Nothing was done for more than 30 seconds, so you wont get bored and can be motivated to go full out for those 30 seconds. Second have of class was 8 circuit stations, each one minute long of shadow boxing, fire flips, box jumps, db renegade rows, trx rows/jump squats, Bose squats, med ball quick feet toe taps and weighted punches. Note to studio: get a big timer/clock for the room Note to class: please dont make this more of a boxing class, keep it a mix of a little boxing and HIIT

This is an amazing perk for ClassPass. Very cool workout. Was not at all expecting it - thought it was your average strength class. Nope. Enjoyed this innovative approach to working out..and only 30 mins! Anyone can do it if they don’t freak out easily over involuntary tens treatment (mild electric shocks). Eric was a great trainer and Lucy explained the situation really well :) I’ll be back!
