The music was amazing and so was the workout! I wish he would have corrected more people as there was someone next to me who was doing it all wrong.

    Rumble Boxing

Fun, tough workout. I was expecting it to be Barry’s or fhitting room hard. It felt probably comparable to a fair fhitting room workout and a light to medium Barry’s workout. For sure what you put in is what you get out. Clear instructions, motivating instructor. Wish it were an hour long at 15-16 credits.

    Boxing HIIT

This boxing class is very legit and a great bargain on ClassPass. I did notice John wrapped several student’s hands, which they don’t do at a lot of boxing places, so points for individualized attention. The space isn’t huge, but is perfectly sized to accommodate twelve people. I liked how he referred to the punches by number versus name. The only drawback was that there was no stretch at the conclusion of class. However, that’s easily remedied at home, or they have open floor space to stretch as well.

His name is Krush not Krash... as I came to learn today :) He and Du are my favorite. Today was intense cardio training which I appreciated the sweat — made the boxing on the bag portion go by even faster. See you both soon!!

Challenging class! Really felt powerful with Laura’s tough combos! Laura is now one of my fave Shadowbox teachers along with Kat. I rarely shower at Shadowbox but didn’t feel great when I stepped in and saw mildew forming along the edges and corners. Please get on top of this Shadowbox!

This was a killer workout. Weren’t too many people so wasn’t as hot as others claimed. You really have to watch the demos well but Scott also walked around to help form. It’s cardio, then boxing, then abs.

Amazing! Perhaps my new fave instructor at Title. 15 minutes of intense cardio agility drills, followed by 45 minutes of boxing (increasingly complex boxing combos to practice and improve) with excellent advice and training, including specific corrections for each student (Michael takes time to address most students in class personally at least once during the hour), followed by 5 minutes of efficient core work. Great soundtrack as well! Take a class with the franchise owner himself! You won’t regret it!

Great soundtrack and atmosphere. The instructor was very encouraging and upbeat. Clean studio, great amenities. However there wasn’t enough personal attention from the trainer compared to other boxing classes I’ve taken and the bags were a bit light.

Joseph’s breakfast club is the place to be in NYC on Saturdays at 10 am. It’s one of the few authentic experiences left in New York, and someday I’m sure we’ll all look back on it and feel grateful that we got the chance to be there and hang out with a mad German kickboxing champion who got us to push through our comfort zone and learn to attack life itself.

    CARDIO SWEAT PARTY

Deceptively hard! A great dance cardio option for people who can’t jump much. It was easy to modify any jumping moves, and the instructor throws in a lot of body weight and kickboxing exercises so that it’s not 50 minutes straight of jumping. I’ll be back!
