    Aerial Fitness L1

Good class - different than other workouts I’ve done but challenging and uses arms, abs, legs, booty. For the first half you do typical exercise moves using the hammock (squats, high knees, planks, arm work, etc) then the second half is more of the aerial acrobatics. Definitely a good workout, change up in my routine. They provide mats Clean studio There is a bathroom for changing

It's still hot and humid in the room from the previous class, so I recommend not wearing pants or long sleeves. Also, I saw people bringing pillows, bolsters, and other props. At a minimum, I recommend something for under your neck (to take pressure of the back of your head) and something to cover your eyes (a washcloth or sock works fine).

Shannon was great and so welcoming for a newbie like me! I loved the small class environment and how we were all able to get individual feedback and form corrections. The class was in a temporary space, the Midwest Buddhist Temple, while their studio is undergoing renovations, but I quite enjoyed the location. It lent a nice meditative vibe to the class.
