    DASH CORE

Elizabeth is one of the best coaches on Classpass. MRUC is all about perceived effort rather than numbers, which I love. Elizabeth was great at giving cues and and encouragement. Like most people, I didnt think that paying to run on a treadmill would be valuable, but now Im sold. Whether youre looking to add some more cardio into your workout regime, training for a race, or just looking to let go of your day to day stresses, you can find that here. I get the same type of meditative benefits as I do with spin class but with the added bonus of getting a really intense workout. The music is amazing as well. The only suggestion I have is more empowering music and less techno (which personally doesnt do anything for me). It was my first class but Im coming back for sure. Thanks Elizabeth!

My first time going and it was really great. Matt was encouraging and thorough. I'm not a very good runner so i was a bit apprehensive about doing intervals but it was a very motivating environment. Great staff, too. Very warm and welcoming. Will def go back.

Super intense. Im truly shocked at how quickly I reach muscle failure. Im pretty fit, dance almost everyday & have a very strong core. However, Solid Core challenges my muscles in a very heightened manner. Is there a no bungee option? Maybe I should try that. #earplugsamust

This class was extremely challenging. This reminded me of drills we ran in track/ football/ soccer all pooled into one class. Although it's a "teamwork" environment the vibe is very competitive. Prepare to be very sorry the following days.

The best Barry's Instructor with creative profiles, great playlists, on point cueing + instruction and challenging formats. She somehow managed to keep us motivated + encouraged despite the air not working tonight as the mirrors completely fogged up. Barry's is hard enough as is, so the added heat upped the intensity to an almost unbearable level.

Great, challenging class. Alex was super fun and friendly. The class was diverse and well structured along to really good music. Alex's instructions and tips were very precise, but I would have liked a few more personal adjustments. Other than that, I had a great time, definitely worked hard, and it flew by!

This is a no/low-weight style classgreat if you like barre or that sort of thing. Personally I dont feel like this style produces any significant results in terms of body composition, strength, or cardio health, but if your goal is specifically muscle endurance then this class would be great for you. Instructor was great.

    Body (Peak)

As a regular Tuesday night class goer, I have to say that this may have been the toughest class Ken has ever given us. Basic but hard as all hell. After the typical warmup in the studio then a farmers carry to Madison Ave plus a non stop 6 min ab series, the workout was 7 rounds of the following : 20 American KB swings, 15 air squats & 5 burpees before a sprint to Madison & back to be done as fast as possible. Most clocked in at ~2 mins so there was a minute rest before the next round. First time I've seen ppl splayed out all over the fitness floor once we finished.

Daria pushes you but in a nice way and watches your form. I didnt find this to be any less challenging than the Training Day class. The fact that theres one barbell movement each day means you work til muscle exhaustion. I always learn something new when I come here. Its non stop the whole time, but you feel accomplished after.

    HIIT (HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING)

Love the programming of this class! Always get a tough full body workout. Be ready to sweat! I love coach Bakes and she is amazing and motivating but I have two major complaints. 1) please stop asking us to count out loud with you (you work us so hard we can barely breathe let alone count) 2) I dont enjoy being told to high five or compliment the person next to me 5 times a class, once is enough. Be warned, there is no place to fill your water and they do not provide towels.

    CHAISE Reinvention

Seiji is one of the OG chaise instructors, so definitely come prepared to work in his class! Not for beginners or those without coordination or any body awareness. He's nonstop with plenty of reps covered through the various sequences (plié squats, static lunges, cat curls, butt blaster, arms, front lunges, side leg, teaser, seated abs, flying series, pikes) with speedy transitions, zero downtime + extreme attention to proper form, all done to a fire playlist. While this studio leaves a bit to be desired (the towels feel like sandpaper, there’s only 1 toilet, there aren’t mirrors along the front studio walls, the smaller room doesn’t have a door), there’s truly nothing like a Chaise class, for it blends aspects of Pilates, aerobics, barre + strength utilizing overhead bungees. As an athlete, I love incorporating these types of classes into my training for an active muscle recovery from lifting/ HIIT/CrossFit. I just wish that Chaise didn’t charge so many credits: 6-8 seems fair

    FIRE | High Intensity

I go to a lot of classpass classes, and this was the best one I’ve been to in a while. The instructor is fantastic - really nice, encouraging, and gives personalized adjustments. It was a small class, so you get personalized attention to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly. You could clearly get in shape by doing this regularly. For ours, we did four different sets of three types of moves (repeated three times each) with a variety of cardio and strength training exercises, and abs in the middle of each set. It sounds like they change the moves each time though.

Such a fun workout! I always leave feeling lighter and more energized. The full body moves and acceleration from bouncing pump out my lymph system while the barefoot jumping strengthens my feet and improves my stability by challenging my balance. I also really appreciate the enthusiasm and creativity Louis puts into creating an amazing atmosphere. The new cosmic shades and black lights are so cool!

For all the people who miss step classes! The class is hiit plus step. They use a small square step with heavy and light set of weights. Class is modifiable for all levels. Less steps, less heavy weights, teacher gave lots of modifiers for newbies. Non stop timed intervals with fun music. There seemed to be a lot of regulars from limelight / equinox days. Studio is new with padded floors and fun changing backlights. There is a gym in the front for private clients. Filtered fountain, shower, changing areas, combo locks with chargers inside. Will definitely be back with friends!

    PT6

Our class had fewer people so we only had 5 stations with 2 people at each station. Normally it seems to be 6 stations. Each station was 6 minutes long and Victoria did a great job in showing us the moves and coming around to correct everyone. Cardio was light but there were still some. Our class really focused on upper body but other instructors may be different. This is definitely for strengthening and I feel sore today!
