They definitely worked out muscles that I don’t generally and my obliques and butt are feeling it today! I will warn this class was definitely not for beginners, if you aren’t used to verbal instructions and quick pace this class may be a bit confusing/difficult. Overall, contemplating whether I should make the trek to Union Square for his class.

I have tried out Classic and Align classes at Pure Barre before which I liked, but this class stood out for me because we were able to use a heavier set of weights and had more of an emphasis on upper body which you don’t really find in most barre/pilates classes. I will definitely be adding this to my rotation at least for the month of December.

see all reviewsI loved my experience here! There is a parking lot in the back, which is meter parking it only cost 1.25 for an hour class. I was greeted as soon as i entered and was signed in. The instructor was very friendly and had a great vibe. I am still in my beginner stages so it was def a challenge but I enjoyed every moment. The instructor will also guide you if assistance is needed. Also you will def sweat please bring a towel! Will be back!

I was given a tour, Hollis explained everything down to the other classes they offer. The class was intense! I loved it. The age range in the room was phenomenal. Totally inspiring! If you want to do a work out that is low intensity HIGH IMPACT this is it. I worked out my entire body. My midsection was trembling! I was still able to work at my own pace which was neat. Thanks Hollis! Ok last thing is the grip socks are not cheap. Class pass notes them as $3.00 but that wasn’t the case, more like $17-22.00. That was kinda a bummer lol other than that you can bring your own.
