    Great concept for a class, but time is often wasted because trainers dont demonstrate the moves quickly enough, or they demonstrate it while you are in the middle of another workout, forcing you to stop the current workout you are doing to watch. Dont like how the trainers dance around you/wish there was more guidance on weights and band resistance. Overall it was a good workout though and I left sweaty.

    I love the Fhitting Room so much and it is classes like todays, with Ben and Ben, that make it so great. The range of innovative, well-paired exercises, using a variety of equipment, excellent music, nice form corrections, and a sense of humor from both instructors make it so much fun and so satisfying.     No one’s better than Jay. End of story. He gets you sweating within the first few minutes + keeps those slow twitch muscles burning throughout class. Quick transitions, minimal downtime, no BS. I know ppl complain about his attitude, but I honestly find his comments hilarious + pretty damn entertaining. Definitely Don’t take him if you’re a newbie or want easy. He ain’t it!

    My 1st time at Brrrn and I was struck by how awesome and friendly the team and instructors are. Lindsay made a point of greeting everyone in the class and setting expectations. The format itself was interesting: sort of a build from a slow yoga flow to some strength and sculpt work with an unexpected cardio blast in the last few minutes. Lots of balancing too. Wasn't the toughest workout but I wasn't looking for that. I still felt a burn. The room temp felt so refreshing and it's a cool concept. Definitely recommend it and plan to return.

    Great class. Great Studio. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rowgatta is indoor rowing a la Barrys Bootcamp. You will alternate between assigned Concept2 erg and floor station for strength and conditioning. I have been to few row studios in NYC and what stands out at Rowgatta is the studio space and the floor station with outfitted FitBench - everything you need already at your own designated bench; spacious locker room with more than 2 showers (I am looking at you RH and CR with only 2, 1 or zero showers at your studios); and it’s conveniently located smack middle on 14th between westside1/2/3 trains and Union Sq with several train options. I’ll definitely be back!

    For all the people who miss step classes! The class is hiit plus step. They use a small square step with heavy and light set of weights. Class is modifiable for all levels. Less steps, less heavy weights, teacher gave lots of modifiers for newbies. Non stop timed intervals with fun music. There seemed to be a lot of regulars from limelight / equinox days. Studio is new with padded floors and fun changing backlights. There is a gym in the front for private clients. Filtered fountain,shower,changing areas, combo locks with chargers inside.
