Super fun, exhausting class but there are two things I struggle with - its always super hot and class rarely end at 8. I feel that with a 90 minute window we should be finishing on time and out there door at 8 but its generally 8:10.

    Slow Burn Vinyasa Yoga

Love slow burn. Don’t mistake it for not being hard. I find this class sometimes harder than the regular class and the flow is just a lot more smooth and makes the class pass faster. Molly was challenged us and made me seeat! Definitely felt the burn.

Mercifully she used the fans and I had the best Y7 session Ive had in a while. People were still dropping (into childs pose) like flies and you could tell she was getting frustrated but they should be relieved they dont have people fainting all over the place there.

    exhale Cardio

This was my first core fusion cardio class, and I actually liked it better than the cardio+barre version. I thought Rachel was really encouraging, but I wish she did more with us instead of walking around individually because everyone was on a different side and it was distracting. I also would have liked more correction on form if she was going to keep coming around. All in all a great class!

    Body (Peak)

As a regular Tuesday night class goer, I have to say that this may have been the toughest class Ken has ever given us. Basic but hard as all hell. After the typical warmup in the studio then a farmers carry to Madison Ave plus a non stop 6 min ab series, the workout was 7 rounds of the following : 20 American KB swings, 15 air squats & 5 burpees before a sprint to Madison & back to be done as fast as possible. Most clocked in at ~2 mins so there was a minute rest before the next round. First time I've seen ppl splayed out all over the fitness floor once we finished.

Charlie was an awesome instructor but the venue is a little odd. Had to awkwardly squeeze through an ongoing CrossFit course to get to the women’s locker room and the Y7 room itself had no fans which by shavasana I really needed.

At first I thought this class was too beginner for me, as I’ve been doing yoga for a few years (on & off so I haven’t been consistent with it). But I did my first ever side plank! I always thought I didn’t have the upper body strength to hold it- but apparently I didn’t know how to properly do it before now. Thank you Halima!!! I’ll be back ????

Love this studio. First time attending via ClassPass which I'm so glad this studio is now on ! Gorgeous, high-end space and studio. Love having an assigned mat and everything being provided for me. The humming is super calming and the instructor was lovely. More of a slow burn versus a super fast vinyasa class

This class was so intense and hard in the best possible way. Phenomenal attentive instructor. Highly recommend. Super challenging for me. (As a base measure: i’ve taken about 3 reformer classes previously but have always been more of a barre/boxing girl). Def adding this to my routine workout bc I’ve finally found a pilates studio that I love.

    Hot HIIT

Not as challenging (especially in cardio) as it could be but still a great class and excellent instructor . My only complaint is that this studio is so disgusting and really needs to be fixed up and cleaned up! They painted it recently, but that is not nearly enough to keep a hot yoga studio clean and sanitary and not disgusting feeling. They should take notes from Y7, sweat and some of the other hot yoga studios about how to do this better.

    Deep Stretch and Tone

Amazing instruction from Paula. This isnt a sweaty fast paced vinyasa class. Nevertheless it packs a profound physical punch - the class started out with some very subtle ab work that, to my great surprise, left my core visibly different the next day. The rest of the class focused a lot on anatomy and where your movements should be coming from. Ill definitely be back. I feel like this type of knowledge is key for aging well and preventing injuries.

    Restorative

So relaxing. This is not Yin. This is restorative which is more passive laying stretching poses. Almost meditative. Time of day is weird to me (11:15a) I randomly had a day off so I could take this class which I really enjoyed but is more of a senior citizen crowd. Wish it was offered at more assessable times. Def recommend if some unwinding if you can get to this class time. Old school yoga studio. Very classic.

Great class for learning the crow pose and headstand... class overall is slower paced with deep holds. Teacher encouraged people to use the wall for headstand as well as assisted anyone who needed help. It can be a little loud in the big room as you can hear the cars honking but not a big deal.

Really enjoyed it. It was the deep stretch I was looking for after soreness from spin class and on the same night I was headed to a challenging aerialist class afterward. The class seems designed to stretch you out so you can go do another workout later. (A 6:30pm dance class is offered directly after this class that seemed popular but I dont see it on Class Pass.) This studio is in the basement of a residential building with a nice garden outside to sit in if you like.

Instructor had an amazing energy and smile!equally fun and challenging. Definitely not for total beginners in yoga, I don’t do HIIT type of workouts so it was hard, definitely sore after, but I really enjoyed it! The music was good but it was a bit hard to hear the instructions with music and fans - luckily there were only 2 other students so I was close to the instructor but can imagine it being hard to follow along in the fuller class. Maybe teachers should get a mic?

Pilates Mat Express ~ (All Levels)

Super intimate class held in a no frills space. I neglected to realize I needed to bring my own mat but thankfully the instructor had an extra. I liked the instructor. Class was a slow pace with just enough to heat the muscles up. Good for me as I'm coming out of an 8 month stagnation from a previously advanced fitness endurance. A year ago I might say it was not challenging enough. I humbly felt the burn in this case!
