    Beginner Intermediate Ballet

Wonderful class as always, challenging exercises (hardest moves were italian fouettes, promenades in arabesque) but also a wide range of skill levels (not many dancers have a clean double pirouette). Great instructor, good corrections. I loved that the pianist played Le Cygne from Carnival of the Animals during adagio! Big drawback is that there’s not a lot of space so I didn’t have access to a mirror during barre.

    POLE CONDITIONING

I’ve been taking pole classes at various studios, on and off, for 3 years. I would describe myself as an “Advanced Level 1 student” because I have had a few setbacks. This was one of the more challenging pole conditioning classes I have taken, and it was amazing! Alyssa is very sweet and encouraging. The class kicked my butt, but I stayed strong throughout. If you have pole experience and are looking to build your strength, this is the class for you.

I've taken Shanice's class a few times now, every time it's a blast! She brings joyful energy, chooses great music, and makes it easy to follow along. Perfect if you need a beginner level cardio class, or if you just need to smile and move your body for 45 minutes. I always leave the class in a better mood than when I came in!

Absolute Beginner Cuban Salsa - Level 1

This is such a great place to learn salsa - I will absolutely go back! The instructors are so nice and patient. We started with basic footwork and then spent the majority of the time practicing with different partners. The only downside was that the lessons are sequential so you have to start at lesson 1 or you’ll be behind (and the class sign up didn’t specify)

    Yin Yoga

Katie is an incredible instructor! She teaches a great yin class with lots of heart and hip openers that I really enjoyed and felt much more open at the end of class. She is also a reiki master and she incorporated that into the class in a way that was totally cleansing and left me feeling very free. I can’t say enough good things about her class!

Allie is great. Good beginner class, tailored to attendees, with encouraging instruction. Small class size. Venue of Cre8ive NYC is so-so, class is in multipurpose space, so room can vary, and middle of room barre only.
