This is the best class there. The other classes feel like to are just paying for a treadmill. This is mostly running but then a good about the if kettlebell however I do wish there was a bit more encouragement and push in class but that’s just the inner me wanting a boot camp type class .

    EXCEED: The Workout

Killer class tonight - love the new assault bike additions (finally)! Skylar does a terrific job splitting up her classes into a combo of circuits, EMOMs + AMRAPs, so we always get a good mix of strength + conditioning work. Tonight covered everything from swings, reverse lunges, wall balls, sumo deadlifts, box jumps, TRX rows, TRX core work, pushups, push presses plus the row + bike. If youre lifting heavy, making out your reps + really putting in the effort, these exceed classes will surely torch you!

Adv. Beg. Clinic at YORKVILLE (89TH & YORK)

The clinics here are hit or miss but you can't beat the combination of a strong group of players and an excellent instructor. Rick had lots of helpful tips I haven't heard before (in the 30 or so clinics I've taken here) and had different and fun drills/games.

    Yin Yang Flow

Grace was excellent - good cues and explanation of poses without overdoing it. Smart sequencing too, just a thoughtful instructor. FYI the space is tiny so come close to class start (no lobby) and there are mirrors in the studio but it's easy to avoid being distracted by them. Also there is very little flow, this is really a yin class ending with yoga nidra with a standard class warm up.

    TRX II

Great workout made even more challenging by compressing it into 25 minutes, which meant muscle-burning, back-to-back sets. As a bonus, it was fun working out with a former elite football player. Rob gave the class awesome energy and a nice sense of humor.

Everyone here was a regular and knew each other but was helpful. Each day focuses on one lift. Today was half strength half cardio but Im told that this was a deload week and usually its all strength. Edgar was very friendly. A slower paced class than the SPS class and a great class to build strength.

    Melt

This class is an amazing find! Denise is a great MELT instructor—knowledgeable, thorough, caring. I have no idea how MELT works, but it’s an incredibly powerful tool for fixing body imbalances. After taking the class yesterday, I slept through the night without any of the painful knee locking that’s mysteriously popped up lately. It’s hard to find MELT sessions in NYC, so I’m grateful that BeFit is offering this one on ClassPass.

    Kickboxing

Great workout with a balance of interesting combos and short sets of strengthening exercises. Over the 2.5 years that Ive been taking this class weekly, Ive gradually built a solid foundation of strength and balance thats lets me do the sets fluidly and really enjoying the whole session. Its one of the few classes Ive taken thats sustained that kind of progress, and in the end, I keep going back because nothing beats training with Joseph.

Jay is by far the best instructor here. I've taken class with Alicia, Jenna, and Hugo- Jay was the friendliest, most motivational, and consistent with checking form. He's played the best music I've had to workout to, too.

LOVE THIS PLACE and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Challenging and fun workout that is good cardio, builds endurance, as well as strengthens and tones lean muscles through a creative, interactive set of drills. William is awesome and provided helpful, thoughtful and targeted instruction proving he clearly knows what he is talking about and resulting in a rounded, full body workout. After a good sweat, I also really appreciated the time and instruction devoted to stretching. I generally hate stretching and feel as though most classes simply go through the motions. This is one the first classes that made it worthwhile and as though it will prevent future injury. Cant wait to go back

    Titan Method: Stations

Three exercises at each station (we had 4 stations) repeated for five rounds with short breaks. It takes time to do all; the only thing is that some take longer to complete twelve or twenty times like say burpees, so would be better to time each exercise for nonstop reps rather than do given number of reps. Great class nevertheless!
