This is the best class there. The other classes feel like to are just paying for a treadmill. This is mostly running but then a good about the if kettlebell however I do wish there was a bit more encouragement and push in class but that’s just the inner me wanting a boot camp type class .

Sarah’s class was the toughest class I’ve very taken at Y7 (both around NYC and in LA). She had awesome, unique flow sequences and challenging modifications for advanced students. I appreciated her fast pace even during the “down time” in between flows. It felt like not a minute of class was wasted. I hope to find her on the UES schedule more often. Can’t wait to take a class with her again!

    EXCEED: The Workout

Killer class tonight - love the new assault bike additions (finally)! Skylar does a terrific job splitting up her classes into a combo of circuits, EMOMs + AMRAPs, so we always get a good mix of strength + conditioning work. Tonight covered everything from swings, reverse lunges, wall balls, sumo deadlifts, box jumps, TRX rows, TRX core work, pushups, push presses plus the row + bike. If youre lifting heavy, making out your reps + really putting in the effort, these exceed classes will surely torch you!

Great, genuinely "all levels" class. The instructor focused a lot on muscle awareness and alignment and started with the fundamentals, but quickly worked towards more advanced poses. I also really appreciated that he made a point of remembering names.

Fantastic energy, great commentary. I had such a nightmare getting to the class, but all that was quickly forgotten, sweated and groaned out in this exhausting but satisfying and positive class where the focus is on you. Christina even vocalized the sound muscles make to make her point about subtleties of form - loved it!

    Hot Vinyasa Basics

Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Also loved that the studio has lots of windows that let in great natural light and found the scent of eucalyptus in the air refreshing. Front desk could’ve been warmer and more welcoming, but I guess even yogis need a day off from letting their inner light of love shine.

Amazing class! She definitely turned things up a notch + gave us longer power sets of thighs + glutes to really get the burn going today. The PB method sometimes doesn’t fully do it for me Bc I feel as though most instructors create their sets to be far too short + sweet, but this was not the case.

Grace was excellent - good cues and explanation of poses without overdoing it. Smart sequencing too, just a thoughtful instructor. FYI the space is tiny so come close to class start (no lobby) and there are mirrors in the studio but it's easy to avoid being distracted by them. Also there is very little flow, this is really a yin class ending with yoga nidra with a standard class warm up.

Over the 2.5 years that Ive been taking this class weekly, Ive gradually built a solid foundation of strength and balance thats lets me do the sets fluidly and really enjoying the whole session. LOVE THIS PLACE and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Challenging and fun workout that is good cardio, builds endurance, as well as strengthens and tones lean muscles through a creative, interactive set of drills. William is awesome and provided helpful, thoughtful and targeted instruction proving he clearly knows what he is talking about and resulting in a rounded, full body workout. After a good sweat, I also really appreciated the time and instruction devoted to stretching. I generally hate stretching and feel as though most classes simply go through the motions. This is one the first classes that made it worthwhile and as though it will prevent future injury. Cant wait to go back

Three exercises at each station (we had 4 stations) repeated for five rounds with short breaks. Pilates Style Sculpt

Incredible attention to proper muscle engagement and precise controlled movement. Peggy is an excellent teacher who clearly knows her stuff. It was a large class but she gave everyone personalised attention. The class was mostly on the older side, but do not let that fool you- this is an excellent workout for any age.
