    Great class! My only issue was the employee talking before class to another employee about Boston Marathon and asked if her friend was running for charity or a "real" runner. FYI- I've qualified both ways, 8 times. and was ALWAYS a real runner. That's just an aside, and not a huge issue, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

    Laura was perfect for a Saturday morning yoga session. Its not really power yoga but I did work up some heat and a light sweat. She made a few nice adjustments. Beautiful studio in basement. The mats arent great but are free. If you prefer your own bring it. Theres a nice locker room with showers and steam room with towels and amenities. Free tea as well.

    One of the best classes I've taken at EBF! Chris was very hands-on and really explained the stations well. He came over a lot and corrected people which was really nice because most instructors don't do that. I also REALLY liked that the boxing sequences were displayed on the monitors. Maybe they have been like that for a while but it's incredibly helpful and was one of my biggest annoyances with this class previously. It's impossible to remember 4 sequences each class.

    This was my first class and I'm very glad I attended the intro. Brooke said the difference between this class and the regular is that 1) there is no pause in between exercises to explain the position in the regular class, 2) there is a greater number of exercises/positions in the regular, and 3) more time is spent working each muscle in the regular. Definitely one of my favorite Class Pass classes so far. Brooke is a great instructor.

    So fun!! I work out a lot so I questioned whether this class would be sufficiently challenging, and it was! Great mix of cardio and strength training. The instructor was very enthusiastic, prepared, and knowledgeable. My only suggestions would be more ab work and possibly hands-on corrections during the barre sections (to make the positions more effective for those new to barre).     I hadn't tried Bar Method yet because of the reviews about them calling people out. I'm sad now that I let that deter me! In my opinion, the calling corrections to individuals by name is incredibly helpful to make sure you have the correct form to avoid injury and maximize your workout. Since I was new she called my name A TON, but that's okay because I didn't know the proper form. Every correction made me feel the exercise more intensely, which is great! I assume if I continue going to class I will learn the proper form, and my name will be called less. I highly advise going because I believe if you're going to spend the time and money doing something, you should do it right. But that's just me... Overall, great workout!!

    I've always liked this studio, but it was my first time going to a class with LeeMarie. It was incredible--deep stretching and just the right amount of heat. LeeMarie's energy was so gentle, welcoming, and non-judgmental, with an emphasis on doing what's best for your own body.     Very different from any other class I've taken (and I've taken many). This is not an exercise class; you won't work up a sweat. It's more like a mix between slow yoga and meditation, with an emphasis on correct alignment/posture. Marie is very sweet and keeps classes small (we had 6 total) so that she can be attentive to everyone. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this particular class because I prefer more high energy workouts, but I'm definitely going to try the studio's other classes!
