    Hot Onnit

It was ONNIT so it was more interval and not flow. Didn't know when I signed up but I enjoyed the class. You could still go at your own pace and make the workout yours. Didn't like the music but it's a 45 min class so didn't have to suffer long. And I like that it's slightly heated so I got my sweat on!

This was my first time here and although I had no idea what I was doing, it was a great workout! Di was really good at coming to show the next sequence right next to me so Id see what to do, I just had to try and keep up. Doing the moves to the beat was awesome too. My knuckles are red, but Im pretty sure thats the point :)

Loved the music and the flow. Megan's energy is great! The pace was a bit fast at times but the environment felt comfortable enough that I could do my own thing when I needed to and take a child's pose or go a little slower. I also appreciated the core work! Parking note: they have a few spots available in the Monarch parking garage (entrance on 5th st)

    Cardio Hip Hop

Definitely more complicated than Zumba and a bit intimidating for a first-timer, but by the end of each song you can get a sense of the moves, and I imagine that if you keep going (which I plan to do) you get to a point where you recognize the routines. I have dance experience and think it would be harder to follow along without that.

Negatives first: This was neither a yogahour class nor taught by Rey. It was an align class taught by Corey. Seriously, get it together, Practice! The listing on classpass is wrong more often than not and its infuriating. I dont have this issue with any other studio. However, Corey taught a lovely class and I did my first solo headstand! Corey gets 5 stars!

Ellen was awesome! First of all - so tough!!! But secondly she gave adjustments that helped push you to keep form or not give up, and they were actually helpful. We’ve all been there when an instructor is not getting that maybe today you need to modify or maybe you want that extra push and would love the encouragement ! She was the perfect balance of this and I actually really appreciated the nudge.

First time using this type of machine, but Taylor walked me through it and checked in with me to offer adjustments throughout class. Great workout--I can tell I'm going to be sore for days. Only negative feesback is that the mic was a little hard to understand, but Taylor demoed everything so it was easy to see what to do even if I couldn't really understand her words.

Great instructor. The class was a lot hotter than I was expecting so bring a heat resistant water bottle with some ice in it. Also the atmosphere is a little corporate (fluorescent lighting, grey walls, etc) and not so relaxing/zen. I didn’t mind but I know a lot are very into that.

I'm 15-30 years younger than most of the women in this class, so I have a tendency to wonder if I'll get an intense enough workout, but you can really dial this one up or down to suit your needs. I leave feeling like I accomplished something (both strength and cardio in the same hour). It also feels very "safe" when I'm not looking to go to one of the trendier studios, and Kate is high energy and encouraging.
