    FRIDAY BOOTCAMP

First time taking one of Chloe’s classes. I will definitely be looking for more clases she is teaching in the future! I had actually been considering chickening out right before class - the class description sounded so intimidating and I wasn’t sure I would be able to keep up. But I’m glad I went - Chloe made the class fun and there was enough variation that I never had to do any one thing for too long. Great workout!

    Immersive Beat Ride

It was my first ever spin class and I had so much fun, it felt like going to a dance party. The instructor was great she was making me laugh the whole time. I liked how she incorporated movements for your upper body. The playlist was super good. If it is your first time, I would recommend arriving early because there is a learning curve with the shoes. My only complaint is that I wish there was more strobe lights and that it was longer because the instructor is really engaging.

Instructor was great at guiding us through the different movements. I appreciated the reminders about form and the corrections. Luckily the class wasn't full, but if it was, the mats are placed way too close together.

An excellent Chi Pilates class with Jackie Sharp. She is a talented teacher who provided a range of modifications to make each exercise as hard as you wanted to make it. I loved how she explained the relevance of each exercise. I felt great by the end!

This was such a great class! The room was hot but not as hot as the main room. You definitely still work up an intense sweat and the work out itself was challenging which I really liked. Byron was such a great instructor. He was so motivational and fun while also coming around and correcting form. Looking forward to coming back :)

Love that Taryn continues to expand her own knowledge, and incorporates it into her teaching. This showcases commitment and dedication of the instructor to the yoga practice, and makes attending the class not just a way to practice but also an opportunity to learn alongside the instructor! I know that when I go to classes led by Taryn, I’ll always leave with new takeaways!

    Hatha - 60 min

Thoroughly enjoyed Michelle's class and the options provided based on experience. Would recommend more encouraged water breaks throughout the class but overall, I enjoyed the class a lot. The studio is a few flights up (there is an elevator available) so that was a nice unanticipated workout before the yoga class haha.

Anne is amazing - loved this class, again. I entered feeling bogged down, heavy and sluggish - left feeling light and thoughtful and centred. Her presence is very grounding. Exactly what I was hoping for. Just the right amount of challenge to push yourself but with enough slowness to catch your breath.

    Modo Yoga - 60 min

Every time I go to this studio it does feel a little cramped as so many people are fit into the room, but it is clearly this way because so many people love these classes. The instructors are extremely clear with their instructions so that you can follow along just by listening to them and don’t need to see the movements to follow along. Makes it easier to focus on just your own body and breathing and almost forget about the many people around you. Very comfortable and inclusive space.

Chakra Hatha Flow - In Studio

Hali was an amazing instructor. I did the Chakra Hatha Flow class and was nervous as I read the class was ideal for people with some experience which I don’t have much but my goal is to try different types of yoga and see which ones I like most. Studio was clean and lots of natural light. Although I can’t hold/do all the yoga poses, Hali expressed something along the lines of not pushing ourselves too much which made me feel very comfortable. Would definetly go back.
