I stopped coming to this studio when my favorite teachers left. I’m so happy I came back and took Kate’s class. Her transitions between postures are quick, which ensures that there is a constant flow. Kate also challenges you to try new postures while supporting and guiding you along the way. Will be back!

    Reformer & Jump Board

This is the best Pilates class I’ve ever taken and I’ve taken over 100 on classpass! Angela is such a fantastic instructor. Clear instructions, positive affect, really encouraging. Also did I mention the workout is challenging AF!! And in a good manageable way. Not in the “what did I do to deserve this” way. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

    Express Yoga | 60 Minutes

Martha didn’t teach this class. Good flow and emphasis on alignment with modifications given. I prefer a teacher who engages more with the class- walks around and corrects students poses either verbally or with adjustments.

There were not enough bolsters for all the people in class. This is a common issue with this studio. There are never enough sliders in BarWorks either. There should be enough equipment for the full number of people that can book a class.

Nice, encouraging instructor, though the class was not that difficult. The gym facilities are pretty sleek too. All the equipment seems new (but I didnt get to test anything), and I could definitely devise a HIIT workout using the TRX bands, medicine balls, barbells, box, etc.

Aerial Hoop for Beginners Introductory in Gowanus

This class was AMAZING. My first time doing aerial yoga and Kristibell was so encouraging, supportive and excited throughout the whole class. She’s super attentive as well and I never felt rushed through any of the moves. Loved this and can’t wait to go back!

So much more than a yoga class. I went there to check out a new studio in the neighborhood and afterward the whole class sat in a circle, drinking wine and talking for an hour. What an amazing tribe of people! Also the best playlist. LOVE.

Came across "PineappleYogi" on CP and I just had to take a class!! The name is too adorable not to :p I love both the studio and the class, it's a very intimate space (just what I like, as it allows for personalized, hands-on adjustments) and the antique wooden interior/vibe really reminds me of this small cozy cabin/yoga center in a mountain I went to :)) Cues/instructions were very clear and easy to follow, flows left my body feeling so good, and the delicate-scent "massage" at the end during Savasana was a really nice touch. Thank you, Sharon! Will be back!!
