Great instructor. Clear instructions, positive welcoming relaxed atmosphere. The studio is very nice, and the location is great. I did not expect handstands in this level, but it was not a problem that I couldn’t do that part. It was good to try. But I was expecting a more basic flow at this level, that’s why I chose it. I will most likely come back, as it was still a great class, especially after work. Challenging enough, but not too challenging.

Brian cubero is the best instructor here by a mile. Now a message for rumble corporate peeps: I’m a rumble power user. I have rumbled hundreds of times. The new policy limiting ClassPass users to around five spots per class until a day before class happens makes it much harder to plan a workout schedule. I get it’s a better deal for rumble if I book directly, but don’t you just want as many people rumbling as possible? Please let me get swole without having to constantly check my phone for last minute rumble slots

I don’t know how to say this without sounding mean and I’m sorry, I don’t want to be, but while he was coaching, the instructor would add uhh to the end of every sentence, or sometimes a few words in the sentence. For example: “you should feel this in your outer legsuhhh.” “That’s greatuhh.“ I found it really distracting, especially once I realized he didn’t seem to do that in his normal one-on-one voice. He was very nice and it was a good class, it just became something I focused on too much.

I really liked the style of this class! The pace was a bit slower than something like solidcore, and the instructor was really focused on making sure everyone had proper alignment for the moves. There was a lot of variety in the kinds of moves as well - I could see this being a class where it’s different every time. I arrived about 20 minutes early but had to wait in the building vestibule for a few minutes before the prior class ended - they don’t have a waiting room, so you’re walking into the middle of class if you’re early!

Amazing energy and vibe, you follow along simple movements in a circle and don’t have to memorize choreography which makes this much more accessible to people without much dance background…that being said, there definitely seem to be seasoned, talented contemporary dancers mixed in. Don’t worry though - it isn’t intimidating, welcoming to all ages and levels, and the studio is grand - it is in a downstairs area. The people are really welcoming and friendly - the lovely young dancer was especially polite and courteous.
