I literally stalk the schedule to see when Jenn subs a class that I can take (nights or weekends)...she is a powerhouse who gives an amazingly challenging class with intense thighs and glutes. With the 2 thigh segments and the thigh intermission in between glutes, we covered 8 positions - the most I've ever done in a class here. She's a must-take if you have yet to experience her!

    BIX (Off Peak)

Hot damn, class was brutal tonight! 8 mins at each station with the same buy in + cash out move sandwiching a 6 min EMOM of another move: Run .2, 20 KB Swings / Row 12-18 cals, 10 erg knee tucks with 5 air squats / 20 wall balls, 4 man makers into clean, squat + press / 15 bike cals, 8-10 burpees. I generally don’t enjoy EMOMs Bc the goal count always seems to be too low + so I feel like I’m standing around doing nothing during class, but the given goals were on point. Love taking class here bc you never know what you’re walking into with the ever changing movements + profile breakdowns, but I always feel gassed when leaving.

LOVE JAMEYS ENERGY. She gets the entire class pumped and keeps us motivated. I write this every wk, but Alex is one of the best core fusion instructors (top 5 for sure!), always providing challenging profiles + making the most use of the hour. Prepare for 4 sets of thighs with a glute intermission, both a barre + floor glute set, 2 plank series, then lengthy flat back + round back ab series. He’s incredibly attentive + hands on, all while keeping his cues on point. Wish he trained other instructors Bc they should all be on this level of intensity!

    Trooper Core Strength Camp

I have a love hate relationship with this class. Its crazy how hard this class is. There was a power section and strength section. The power section didnt feel like much but the strength section was insane. The exercises (TRX and pike ups with gliders) looked easy but to do them properly with full range of motion and in a controlled way is absolutely killer. Core is the hardest muscle group to work. If you pride yourself on lifting heavy or running fast, this will be a humbling experience because theres almost no weight and its very slow paced. Im going to incorporate this class into my training more even though I hate it. I kinda wish there was an easier version of this so that I could work up to it because I felt like I couldnt even stabilize in some of the exercises so I did very little reps. Maybe next time Ill get better.

The front desk person was very welcoming and friendly- she gave a brief tour of the facility. Its a little odd as far as the setup I think theres a chiropractor who shares the space? I found Erica to be very knowledgeable and really had an understanding of the body and how every move was suppose to work each muscle group. It was a solid class although not something that I would say was exceptionally challenging. Erica made adjustments and spent time with each student during each exercise to correct form and give feedback. Music was old school soul and 80s pop/ which I loved. I would take the class again.

A hidden gem of a gorgeous, super clean, and well stocked personal training and small group class studio in the heart of Midtown, i.e. in the lower east 50s, where there aren’t nearly enough boutique gyms in my humble opinion. Iman was so kind, generous, knowledgeable and accommodating... challenging me every step of the way, while catering the workout to my needs and current ability level. You will be hard pressed to find personalized workouts like this anywhere else in Manhattan. I left feeling sore (in a good way), sweaty, confident and accomplished. One of the best massages I’ve ever had thanks to Claudia’s expert knowledge of physiology and thoughtful efforts to customize and address my problem areas. Really loved her attention to details that elevated the whole experience, like starting with a little aromatherapy by having me breathe deeply as she wafted some spearmint oil by my head and later using an amazing soothing had pillow and eye blind to put me in a deep relaxation cocoon. I walked in all hunched over and tight from stress and walked out feeling taller and lighter and completely chilled out. Super gratitude moment for people like Claudia who put so much into making others feel better!

The procedure was thorough and done carefully with everything explained and special care taken to meet my needs. It even ran 15 minutes long and included a mask and serum at no additional cost, which I really appreciated. Most of all, I appreciated that this wasn’t one of those spas where they insult your skin aggressively, so you feel pressured to pay for more treatments on the spot. Lots of ClassPass people today! It was humid out so lots of sweaty push-ups during the deck of cards workout. Ben (one of the organisers) loves burpees, so we did a 50 burpee challenge before today's workout! Since there's a Farmer's Market in the summer, the ball bag challenge is done in a circle (normally we sprint to the bag). We always do coffee at Pret after class!

    Signature Massage

Millan gave me an EXCELLENT massage but the salon has changed names (possibly ownership) and seemed mystified about their relationship to classpass. They scrambled and then honored my appointment. I hope they continue their relationship to classpass as Yukie Natori (their new name) the experience was very good but if you book Red & White, their former name, double check with the spa that they'll accept your credits.

Stretch Therapy Session - 45 minutes

Shirley was amazing. I highly recommend visiting her so you feel better, and sit and walk taller! She gave feedback on how to prevent future injuries and really concentrated on my problem areas. I wasn’t put under any pressure to tip as other reviewers mentioned, but was gladly happy to since Shirley was so helpful

This class is accessible, yet challenging. The instructor gave clear directions and helped my form. It was a great way to get moving again after an injury. I felt very relaxed afterwards.
