Awesome profile tonight! Exactly the type of comprehensive workout thats not always guaranteed at TFR these days. From the strength conditioning to the tabata style, 4 station circuit to the killer extended 2 part 12 minute FHIX, we covered numerous strength movements such as gorilla rows, KB pushups, DAKB deadlifts, cleans, swings, squat press, med ball toss, slams.

    #HipHopWednesdays WeFlowHard Vinyasa Yoga

Love this class, but I have to comment on the locker room. Love that they have showers unlike their other locations and Malin and Goetz products. However, there have been a few times now where the products were empty in the showers and I had to wait naked, in a towel, in the coed locker room for them to refill. They also only have one hair dryer. For $20, it would be of significant value add to their clients. Final thing is I'd prefer if they gave out more than one towel. With a coed bathroom especially, where you need to dry off and change immediately after showering, one towel doesn't really do the trick.

Killer class tonight - love the new assault bike additions (finally)! Skylar does a terrific job splitting up her classes into a combo of circuits, EMOMs + AMRAPs, so we always get a good mix of strength + conditioning work. Tonight covered everything from swings, reverse lunges, wall balls, sumo deadlifts, box jumps, TRX rows, TRX core work, pushups, push presses plus the row + bike. If youre lifting heavy, making out your reps + really putting in the effort, these exceed classes will surely torch you!

I was visiting NYC so I’ve never visited this location or taken a class with Casey before. But it was one of the best Barry’s classes I’ve ever taken. Casey’s instructions were very clear and demonstrated each move/exercise. The treadmill workouts were challenging. The floor exercises were lower body focused but we also had some upper body exercises in the mix as well. I highly recommend Casey’s classes to anyone who likes Barry’s Bootcamp.

Great class. I liked the instructors guidance and to do what your body allows and not to focus on others, judgement free. I used to be so nervous going to yoga when I first started for fear of sticking out as not knowing what I was doing, but she gives pretty clear direction. Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Great class. Wasn’t a fan the first time I attended his class bc I didn’t sweat enough, but I def sweat a ton today. I wasn’t a fan of the arm workout though. It lasted about 90 seconds and was primarily push ups against the back, which didn’t work out anything. I’d much rather the studio stop providing those single one time use plastic water bottles that are HORRIBLE for the environment and buy light weights to prop on every bike so we can do a real arm workout.

It was a total body workout with mix of cardio, dance and strength training. Mats and resistance bands were used. Expect to do lunges, planks, push ups and more. Jacey was very energetic and in excellent shape. She also came around to do corrections. Too cool to work out with a former Rockette. Very friendly and encouraging. Great music, nice staff. Bar Method

I’ve taken other barre classes but this was my first at Bar Method. It was tough! The instructor was really nice and encouraging with lots of hands-on corrections. The only issue I had was that many of the moves were described verbally but not demonstrated, so could be a little confusing for a newbie. Otherwise great.

First time I took a class with Julia and it was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Her music was phenomenal (thong song!!!), choreography was perfect, and her energy was amazing. She motivated us and smiled throughout and it was just lit! This made it not only a great physical workout, but also mentally uplifting. I chatted with her after class and she is such a warm and genuine person. Will try to take more of her classes! Cant wait for the next opportunity to do so. :)

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and equipment at the gym. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. One thing, you will need to have your own wraps and gloves. You can purchase wraps there and they were kind enough to lend me gloves, but I don't know if that's typical. The trainer was excellent at walking around and giving detailed tips. If I had to complain about anything... he definitely didn't really push you much. However, I'm pretty out of shape so maybe he was just being kind!

Great workout, more intense than I thought it'd be since I didn't know what I was in for but really enoyed! Amalia was awesome and the class was welcoming. Really cool environment and got the workout I needed. Definitely a great way to work on building strength. I'd recommend.
