Sooo fun. Kate the instructor has such fun anecdotes. Playlist was alternative 80s but apparently she switches it up every week. This class is not as hard as barre at a barre studio so I'd highly recommend it for w beginner. loved it!!!!

    SPA Yoga

Light stretching/movement and a lot of relaxation/meditation. Just what I needed. The instructor was very clear in her instructions and almost seemed to read my mind. Loved the brief massage during shavasana and the chocolates to go.

    Exhale Barre

I was very pleasantly surprised with the class! Hard enough but not too hard - the perfect amount of challenging. The instructor was super nice and gave helpful cues during class. She also made a point to learn everyone’s name and give us shoutouts when we needed a cheerleader which was a very sweet and kind touch!

My favorite part of SBY is the teachers. They always teach a class that seems to be a step above and usually give adjustments/assists too which I love. Jenna was welcoming and knowledgeable. I felt great after class. But ugh the studio space at SBY. Just feels so grungy and dreary.

    Restorative Yoga

Very relaxing. It's important to note that there was no flow in this class. For the whole hour, we laid on our mats in various supportive postures using props. Wonderful if you just want some time of stillness and meditation, but not for those who want to move, sweat, or stretch.

    YS - Yoga Sculpt

Great class, challenging work out, awesome play list! Love working out to Tiesto and reggaeton!! My only, very small, complaint is it was hard to hear the instructor. Not sure if the studio has microphones/head sets or maybe turn the music down just tiny bit.

This was really cool. Instructor was great. Explained things very very well. It was easy to follow. The music was great and went well with her instructions and different actions in the class. So glad this is on ClassPass.

    Postural Therapy

Very different from any other class I've taken (and I've taken many). This is not an exercise class; you won't work up a sweat. It's more like a mix between slow yoga and meditation, with an emphasis on correct alignment/posture. Marie is very sweet and keeps classes small (we had 6 total) so that she can be attentive to everyone. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this particular class because I prefer more high energy workouts, but I'm definitely going to try the studio's other classes!

This class was amazing! Jess guided us all through unique and challenging sequences. It felt both relaxing and like a good workout. Plus, the space is beautiful! Will definitely be coming back.
